Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
There is lots of scenery on the way to God. Take care that you are keeping your focus and involvements toward the highest good of all concerned. You will likely then realize much of what you see is not your level of concern but more something for you to observe and learn from as best you can without much involvement other than to radiate Light and love to all.
You meet the troubles and challenges through love, empathy, peace, steadfastness, and gentleness. Strength then follows automatically. It isn't hard work, like lifting weights; it's an inner strength. It's where you get goose bumps over your head as the Spirit moves you. It's where you sit tall and strong inside. It's where you say, "Come what will, I'll handle it. I may not do it in the perfect way, but I'll handle it, and I'll grow from it." Not grow in it, grow from it. Don't grow in your disease; grow from your disease. There's a big difference. Some people grow in their disease, so they are very strong in fighting their disease, but they still have the disease.
When you get up very high from the earth, it looks like a paradise, a garden of Eden. I think one of the astronauts said this when he was quite high above the earth. When you get up high in your consciousness and look back, you may say, "Wow, that's paradise!" and impel yourself back again. There are a lot of reasons why the Soul keeps coming back. In a way, it is a paradise here, but it is not as yet in the higher realms of Light and love. You can live here in the physical body and reside in heaven by being aware of both levels simultaneously. How do you do that? You get enough experience of this level; you develop a knowing of what this level is. Then you stop doing this, and you automatically start doing that. To know consciously of the other side, you must shut your mouth to this side. You must not be the teacher. You must be the student.
Just as everyone is an extension of God, through individualized Soul, so is everyone the Light. All people have this energy of Light present with them to various degrees, and all possess various abilities to express it and work with it. Some people are more attuned to the magnetic light, and some are more attuned to the spiritual Light. Wherever you find yourself is fine. All the levels are steps along the way of your spiritual evolution.
Your mind will say things to you, and then your eyes will start to look around for whatever it is that your mind says you lack. Then your emotions start to follow that, the feelings start to hurt, the body grabs a hold of it, and pretty soon you're sick. So now you know how to be sick, and you know how to make yourself even sicker. Yet you can reverse that. You do it by watching where you put your eyes. Watch what you hold in your mind. Watch where you put the feelings as they come up. Put your emotions where you want your body to go. These are very simple directions for just living life.
Clearings can be very important, especially if you have let irritations and misunderstandings build up within your consciousness. You must be free to reach into the spiritual realms and into God consciousness. You cannot be restricted by resentment over how your boss treated you a year and a half ago or last week. You cannot be restricted by the remark your husband made about the dress you made. These things must be cleared and balanced. You can do it two ways. You can go to the person with whom you had the misunderstanding and talk to that person about it, tell the person how you felt, communicate honestly and openly, and clear the air that way. Or you can simply release it within your own consciousness -- just let it go, place no more energy out that way, place no more concern with it, and move it out of your consciousness. Either way will work.
In order to show respect for God and his creation, I show it to people out there. I love people, I care for them, I share with them, I talk to them -- because God did all that.
To be spiritual is just to be, to allow other people freedom, to take freedom for yourself, to neither inflict nor allow infliction, and to remove yourself by your own authority from a situation that is incompatible by saying, "I'm not part of that."
Q: I am so tired with my responsibilities. I don't sleep well and the night travel and dreams I have leave me feeling heavy and saddened. A: You might find value in checking what you have assigned to yourself as responsibilities. It is very likely that you are attempting to manage or control things that are not yours. It won't work. They belong to others or are part of the natural order of things.
God does not allow one thing to come to his children on earth that they cannot handle -- not one thing.
