Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Intolerance is a form of prejudice where you "know" something even before you know that you know. With intolerance, no matter what a person does, you can find something wrong with it. You make them wrong even if they're right. Intolerance sounds like this: "Because you are not like me and you don't do it my way, you're wrong, and you're no good, so get out of here." It's also when you say, "I'm better than you, and I'm not going to listen to you." "I know it and you don't. Don't bother me." The cure for intolerance is simple: it's tolerance, or patience. You can ask, "Tell me how you see it can be done in a better way." If you can be shown a better way, it's no longer intolerance; it's a correction. Then you accept the correction, do it better, and you lift yourself. So no matter what happens in your life, you use it to your advantage.
In this world today, it seems that there are many causes for fear, insecurity, and despair. For example, some people fear the threatened shortages of food and fuel. Of course, there are shortages. There always have been. There are whole cultures and countries that have never had adequate food, fuel, or housing for their people. The real shortage today, however, is of brains -- the ability to look ahead, think, and plan. The other shortages exist only because of the way existing supplies are mishandled, mismanaged, and poorly distributed. If you have the courage to look ahead realistically and to think and plan intelligently, you have the ability to take care of yourself. How do you handle fear, insecurity, and anger when they come into your consciousness? Go into the theater of the mind and envision yourself being able to think and plan intelligently. Work on it. Practice it.
Before you respond to negative thoughts and feelings you might benefit by considering your choice as a test of your loyalty to your Soul, your strength, your endurance. Consider that you can manage to go through this challenging time like a marathon run in which you have "hit the wall" and you are exhausted and discouraged and so desperately want to quit. There is a great spiritual benefit that comes through your willingness to endure with courage and dedication to finish overcoming this test from the world. You can choose to nurture yourself so you can then nurture others as a joy.
When you awaken to your own Christ Consciousness, to your own Soul consciousness, you will love freely, you will live freely, you will love from the loving heart. You will be living love.
The Soul is the essence of God. And God loves all of its creation and maintains and serves and gives to it. To know myself more as a Soul, I would immediately enter into those attributes -- loving, caring, and sharing.
The point is not to do away with the emotions and thoughts but to become master of them and use them, as necessary. Use them when they come in, and put them aside when you no longer need them. You can demonstrate your ability to assert and maintain dominion over your inner environment. This is the joy of being the master of the household.
You can move your whole consciousness forward by developing eleven key traits which define the path of mastership. The eleven key traits are: truth, sacrifice, faith, creativity, intelligence, will, devotion, discipline, service, love, and mastership.
You can exercise the consciousness of mastership in a most dynamic way by saying, "Father, Mother, God, I ask for the highest good of all concerned to be brought forward."
There is bound to be some form of testing as the truth of your experience is revealed in the Light that is knowing. Each person has direct responsibility to be aware of their experience and determine what is true. As the truth is revealed, you will also find direction that clearly guides your choices and becomes a way of living that is free from the forms of doubt that would mislead you. This is the truth that sets you free.
We've all done the wishful thinking, haven't we? And it didn't do too much. We've all done the day dreaming, and it didn't do too much. Now, when we say, it didn't do too much, there is the key. DO IT. The DO IT process. Inside of you is going to be the key.
