Doubt is what I call having a double mind. Doubt says, "I want to do this, but what about this?" So there are now two things to do. This type of doubt can be a burden and source of confusion. "I think so, but I doubt it." "I think I'm getting well, but I'm not sure." "I'm sure she loves me, but I don't know." "They might, but maybe they might not." "How's the day going? It's just wonderful, except my back hurts." It's often referred to as the evil eye because there is a lack of willingness to fully embrace the goodness in life.

The state of sacrifice can be a beautiful thing. Maybe you give up that ten o'clock television show to do your spiritual exercises. Or you give up the Tuesday night poker game to go to a class or seminar, knowing that you're going to find some advancement or enlightenment.

In reality people have karma only with themselves. While people come into close relationships to work through certain karmic situations, the karma is with themselves, not with other people. Other people may help them work out their karma, but it is always their own. Many people may help them fulfill it.

The Traveler just shares himself with those who are his beloveds, those who are the initiates. The Traveler does not offer only an association; the Traveler offers a relationship that abides in the spiritual heart, nowhere else. It is a relationship of living love. And when the Traveler talks to you, he talks to the Soul. The Traveler speaks loving. It is love. It will lift you in love.

God's will has no againstness nor punishment. God's will is entirely in your favor as you learn to meet the challenges in your living situation with a great attitude that you can handle everything in your life in a positive response that is sourced from within you.

Sometimes you enter into "sacrifice" on the faith of what you've seen other people gain. People who were "boozing it up" or "getting loaded" just as often as you were, come into a more balanced expression. You notice they're not expressing themselves through drinking or drugs any longer, and they seem happier. So you enter into faith that these changes can happen to you also.

If you don't like the level you're on, move to a higher one. The higher one can be reached through meditation, through spiritual exercises. And it can be reached most definitely through service.

If you are letting your fears and insecurities run you, turn around and confront them. Face them. Devour them. Consume them. Do it so well and so enthusiastically that you clear all your karma. That's liberation! And that's moving into God consciousness.

The message of the age is that God's love is manifest here and now, within everyone.

The challenge is to make your mind hold a focus until you complete the action of your thought. If you learn only that, you will have overcome this earth.
