As the human consciousness expands into Light, it goes into all things. Here on this planet, however, our consciousness is often compacted into the physical form. It seldom pays attention to anything else. At the same time, some part within us says, "I know there's more out there." The part that looks can't see it. The part that listens can't hear it. The part that touches can't feel it. While none of our senses are aware of it, the part of us that is an extension of a greater beingness knows there is more than this physical existence.

You cannot control the mind or the emotions, but you can direct them the way you want them to go. When the emotions flood forward, you can stand clear of those emotions. You can change your direction and place a new direction for yourself to move mentally and emotionally. You are not responsible for what comes into your mind. A lot of things come into your mind all day long, and you can let any thought just flow in and flow out. You are responsible for what you hold in your mind and for those thoughts to which you add your energy. So be careful what you hold in your mind because you may become that.

The Traveler comes in on love. Move to love, and you'll find the Traveler entirely present in your heart. You'll feel the Traveler behind your eyes, sharing your world with you. You'll sense the Traveler walking beside you, touching your hand, as you walk down the street. As you move to that quiet place inside, you'll feel the Traveler's embrace and know that you and the Traveler are one.

You go to a person and forgive them only after you first have forgiven yourself for harboring what you held against them. Then you come to at-one-ment. Forgiveness leads to at-one-ment.

By patiently accepting what you have and don't have and by continuing to act from a positive place in the "happiness of pursuit," you'll be manifesting joy under any conditions.

Marriage is a place of life where the life force can come forth like a seed that is moving to fruition. It can go out and bless another life to come into the world, blessing your community and neighbors. A very powerful marriage blesses the world. That is why you often find that the people doing great things have a marriage that is a foundation for what they are doing in the world. Behind this great person is often a really great person. If you want to meet the truly great person, go behind the first one to the one who is supporting in every way what the other is becoming in the world. It is a great position of service, and God knows who is doing that. The world does not necessarily know, but God knows.

To gain awareness of Soul, you move to each moment of divine beingness. You don't let your mind disturb you, and you don't let your emotions push you around. You just breathe in and breathe out, holding the focus as the present action completes itself. You don't complete it. I don't complete it. The action of Spirit completes itself in its own timing.

The cure for doubt is understanding even when there is no evidence to understand. You understand that doubt is part of the human condition, so you do not dwell upon your doubt but use it as a method to prove or disprove that which you're going towards. If you doubt something, go check it out. If it's not so, your doubt has been part of your knowledge. If it is so, your doubt has been part of your guidance system. Either way, you get to use doubt in a positive way.

The energies of the negative pole of experience are more apparent when you are here in the physical realm. This level is their territory, and they can be quite powerful. But as you attune your consciousness more and more to the energies of the positive pole, to your spiritual self, you find that the spiritual Light can override any negativity. You learn to bring all the levels of your consciousness into the flow of the Light; then the positive energy extends itself through all the negative realms, and you find every level of your life becoming a manifestation of God's love and grace.
