It is difficult to know God until you know yourself. And you cannot know yourself until you take the time to find out about the levels of consciousness within you.

When things are handled moment by moment, you find out that everything is fine, everything is smooth, everything is right where it should be.

If you have love, empathy, peace, steadfastness, gentleness and strength -- understanding appears. It is not an intellectual process. It comes out of the Spirit inside you. Through this understanding, you will be attuned to someone and know how they feel. If we truly knew the secret hurt of our worst enemy, we would never do one thing more to hurt them again. That's the truth. Think about that the next time you want to hurt somebody in any way, shape, or form. We all have our hurts.

Relative truth can be tricky. For example, if I told you the sun wasn't going to come up tomorrow, you might dismiss me as a false prophet. Of course, there is no real guarantee that the sun will come up tomorrow, but in a faith area you know it will. You know, and this type of faith becomes so strong nothing can shake it. But if I put you deep in a hole in the ground and shut out the light, the sun wouldn't come up for you. That's subjective truth coming in. So you always have to qualify your statements, which keeps your consciousness moving. You don't hold to a rigid point, like, "I've got it; this is it; no other way works." Rather, you say, "This way is working right now." And if it's working ten minutes from now, keep working with it. But if it stops working, move on to something else because it will no longer be true for you. When you reach the Supreme God, you won't be working in transitory truths. But until you do find God, you will be working in areas of relative truth because you have no other choice. Work them beautifully while you are here.

People who were having psychic or spiritual experiences used to think they were alone. Now, people are coming together in increasing numbers to talk about these areas. They are finding out that many other people are experiencing similar things. Some people are still frightened of spiritual experiences, thinking they belong in the category of ghost stories and haunted houses. This isn't true. Many things exist outside the range of our physical senses, and we cannot see, feel, taste, or hear them. Spiritual experiences are a normal, matter-of-fact reality. There is nothing abnormal or strange about them.

Place your love in the heart of the Traveler. That is living love. Everything, even your breathing, becomes loving. Your touch becomes loving. Your whole approach becomes loving. Then everything you do, you do for love.

Remember to be patient and compassionate with yourself as you meet up with the challenges in the world. Trust that God is always providing whatever you truly need that serves your Soul and all of the creation.

All your dilemmas and romance, your suffering and confusion, will be dissolved instantaneously if you just give it all to the Traveler Consciousness in your moments of meditation, contemplation, quietness, and spiritual exercises. But you must also give up the memory or you will pull it right back on top of you.

The key to serving, and in fact the key to anything you do, is your attitude. If you are of genuine service -- not your idea of service but the compatibility that what you are serving is needed and wanting to be received -- then the action is probably going to be free of karma.
