Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
A vitally important theme in the book "Living the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being" is: hold images in your mind that you want more of. I strongly suggest that if you want to go in the direction of better health on all levels, start building that habit now. When you maintain a positive image, the basic self accepts it and works with it. If you place a clear image forward, the basic self sees it and goes to work to make it come about. Once the basic self has a clear image of the goal, it will work towards it 24 hours a day, even when you aren't thinking about it consciously. The basic self is full of energy to express itself. It works to fulfill those images that it has recorded, even if they're old habit patterns. So, to change a habit, it's a matter of redirecting the basic self to fulfill a new image that is more suitable to you.
If you want release from incarnation patterns, start assuming responsibility immediately, in this moment.
For me, if there is a conflict with another human being and someone declares it a win-lose situation, I'd choose the loss. I'd rather lose my ego, my position, my need to be right than win. I'd rather that someone I love learn from their winning than that I inflict a loss on them.
Whenever an addictive pattern rises up again, you can challenge it by not acting on it. You can ask these questions: If I choose to do this, what will be the effect of this choice on me? And if I choose to do this, what will be the effect of this choice on others? Then make a new, conscious choice toward a more loving and caring approach. Every time you challenge an addictive pattern, you strengthen yourself and empower the divinity of the Soul to become present in you as a natural source of energy, like breathing. If, however, you give in to your addiction, it helps to remember that you're actually trying, in a roundabout way, to get love. Stopping at the bar, the chocolate shop, or the clothing store is a misguided way of saying, "I love me, and I feel love for me."
Not even one condition, not even for an instant, is anything ever working against who we are, the true self, our Soul, our deep and abiding connection with God. This is the divine presence eternally watching over us, patiently holding and waiting, providing all that is needed and even wanted when the Light of day is fully revealed. All along perfection has been intact and entirely evident, praise God.
Sometimes the grandiosity of our visions doesn't match our ability to do. So we fall short and then tell people the great vision and how we failed, usually managing to blame others in the process. Just forget about the failures and forget about the vision and do what's in front of you.
As an interesting experiment, take a few minutes to write an obituary notice for yourself. If you were to die right now, what would you say about yourself? Could you write something that would be uplifting to another individual? Would you want to write, "I had three cars, a fishing boat, a summer home, and $20,000 in the bank"? Would you write, "I accomplished all the goals I set for myself in my life"? Or "I made my neighborhood a better place in which to live"? Or "I truly loved all my neighbors"? Or "I truly loved my family. I reared my children in a consciousness of love"? What would your obituary be if you were to write it now? Would you be proud of it? It's an interesting exercise. It may give you some insights into where you are and where you are going.
Because the Soul has little concern about time or space, it is unconcerned with the trials of the physical, emotional, or mental levels. It moves into the physical body, inhabits it, and has a wonderful time doing the divine dance of God.
Be happy and free in your relationship to yourself.
Even though the things we do in this physical world may continually misrepresent who we are, let's never forget for even one second that the divine spark that is God resides within each one of us.
