Even though the things we do in this physical world may continually misrepresent who we are, let's never forget for even one second that the divine spark that is God resides within each one of us.

One way to look at what is going on is we are continually being exercised in our growth and learning and so we are constantly being strengthened and enabled. The conditions in this world are in each and every way a complete and whole creation for our upliftment and advancement, our progression and fulfillment.

That moment inside of you where you forgive what's happened is the moment when you are enlightening yourself.

If you are allowing your physical condition to block you from doing the things that you want to do, you're not being of loving service to yourself. A cornerstone of my teaching is to "Take care of yourself so that you can help take care of others; don't hurt yourself and don't hurt others; and use everything for your upliftment, learning, and growth."

And as you learn to keep yourself balanced, you can move out of the areas of dogma and opinion and move into a state of being. In that state, you will be aware of what is going on, but you will not necessarily have to enter into it. You will not have to get down in the "muck and mire" of negative expression. You simply keep yourself balanced and clear within your own consciousness, regardless of what is going on around you.

God is in the business of forgiveness.

To make a big effort is a fighting situation. As soon as you set up fighting, you set up resistance. As soon as you make an effort, you set up defense. Defense blocks. To just naturally reach and take the next thing and pull it to you and move with it in a very even-flowing way is an accepting situation.

Relax. Then relax some more until you know that letting go completely is the way. Then you are entirely available for God to reveal His grace upon thee.

When what we have given in service returns, you can choose to "spend" it, (use it, enjoy it, feel it, and so on), or you can give it away again. Certainly, you can enjoy it while it passes through your hands -- or heart. Given away, it returns again, and usually faster than the first time. Give it away again, and it returns again. Give, return. Give, return. Soon it's hard to tell whether all that loving, compassion, caring, tenderness, laughing, joy, and money is coming or going. Eventually, it's not a matter of giving and then receiving love, but it all merges into a steady flow of loving. There is no beginning or ending.

People have often asked me how I can know what is going on in a certain place. This is how: I step into the Soul, and in the Soul consciousness, my Soul can communicate with any other Soul. It is instantaneous knowledge, faster than the speed of light. In the spiritual Light, everything is instantaneous and exists now. This is what people refer to as "the eternal now." It is when we come into the physical body that we come into space, time, differentiated energy, and various dimensions. Many people say, "I'm going to live for all eternity," and I say, "Yes, you are doing it right now. This is eternity."
