When what we have given in service returns, you can choose to "spend" it, (use it, enjoy it, feel it, and so on), or you can give it away again. Certainly, you can enjoy it while it passes through your hands -- or heart. Given away, it returns again, and usually faster than the first time. Give it away again, and it returns again. Give, return. Give, return. Soon it's hard to tell whether all that loving, compassion, caring, tenderness, laughing, joy, and money is coming or going. Eventually, it's not a matter of giving and then receiving love, but it all merges into a steady flow of loving. There is no beginning or ending.

People have often asked me how I can know what is going on in a certain place. This is how: I step into the Soul, and in the Soul consciousness, my Soul can communicate with any other Soul. It is instantaneous knowledge, faster than the speed of light. In the spiritual Light, everything is instantaneous and exists now. This is what people refer to as "the eternal now." It is when we come into the physical body that we come into space, time, differentiated energy, and various dimensions. Many people say, "I'm going to live for all eternity," and I say, "Yes, you are doing it right now. This is eternity."

We do not have to go anywhere to be in the Soul. We are already there. We have only separated ourselves in consciousness from the Soul because of confusion through identification with our mind, our emotions, our body, and the material world.

If you get nothing and it's still, you must realize that underneath the stillness is the Creator, who is holding the stillness.

We are in a movement of spiritual inner awareness that accepts and cooperates fully in the ways and timing that come directly from God into the psychic-material worlds. The ego and false self often want to claim a sort of "divine right or entitlement" that is more about the small self center and attachments that result. The true self knows the value of the willingness to wait for eternity. The irony is eternity is now. God is not mocked by false claims. God knows the truth of complete surrender to the will that is the highest good of all concerned.

Joy and happiness are the attributes of God and Spirit.

The noninflictive nature of the Soul also explains why people can spend whole lifetimes being unaware of the Soul's existence in themselves and in others and being caught up in the lower levels of their existence. Sometimes a person will feel a sadness and despair that nothing in this world can relieve. It is experienced almost as a feeling of homesickness, and that is actually what it is: they are sick of these lower levels, and they want to go home to the Soul realm.

Although people who follow a spiritual or religious path often put down or ignore the physical body, in fact it is a fantastic mechanism to work from as you transcend the lower levels of consciousness. It's the only level from which you can experience all levels of the psychic-material worlds and move directly from the physical level into Soul. Therefore it's a good thing to respect the body for the temple that it is.
