Daydreaming is not necessarily a waste of time. For example, it can be quite useful for giving a person time to manage their emotions through getting away from a source of emotional difficulty. Daydreaming also permits the creative elements to fuse and produce more easily without the conscious self (a person's usual, everyday self), ego, and judgment in the way. Part of the creative process involves putting those aspects aside so that the creative forces can flow freely. The structuring comes in later when you translate the vision into something tangible. Einstein daydreamed, as did Edison and many other creative, inventive people. Adults often do not feel comfortable calling it daydreaming, however, so we invented another, more mature word -- preoccupation. Children often daydream, and when a student is daydreaming in class, instead of saying to stop it, a better approach is for the teacher to ask the student to write or draw what they are seeing.

When in the silence, an intuitive knowing starts to awaken. When the wisdom within you starts to open up, you may start thinking about what is being revealed. Thinking shuts off the flow. It's better to just listen. You may think that you had better write the revelation down before you forget it. How can you forget what comes to you from your Soul? It is truth. There is nothing to do with truth, just be that.

Spirit is a process of now. Spirit only exists now. If you try to attach to the past or the future, you get stuck and may feel the absence of Spirit, because it cannot exist for you outside of now. That process of attachment to past or future can become a fixation within your consciousness.

Living your integrity becomes the rule instead of the exception. It transforms the duality of your life. You may then observe its transformational currents radiating in wider and wider circles through your universe, and you become living proof that loving is not some abstract ideal but a very effective and practical way to live your life.

The love of looking at a newborn baby is divine love. The look of two young lovers is divine love. It is all divine love when we have placed the highest good of that person ahead of our actions towards them. You know it's very hard to love in a divine way because it can't be understood with the mind. It's spiritual. This oneness with all humanity is within the heart of every being.

Prayer Lord God, once again we give thanks for the opportunity to be with You. We ask that You bring us forward from whatever we have chosen that would keep us lagging or restricted from knowing You. Lift us from our pretenses and falsehoods that we have placed before ourselves as judgments and false knowledge. We ask that You take away the illusion and that You may assist us, regardless of what we have done. We come to You in grace, to the door of forgiveness. Restore our joy and courage, that we can go through each day and whatever meets us, knowing the blessings of each moment and being glad in what we behold as eternal truth. We bring our enthusiasm to do the best we can. We trust that You are always with us and that You have prepared the way. There is nothing against us that will ever last. Whatever negativity we find shall not prevail. We are resurrected in the Christ. The Holy Spirit is our companion. You bring the Lord's hand to touch us, strength to lift us, vision to look upon Your face, Light to let us see the truth, and wisdom to know that Your will is done. You must test the teachings to find out if they are true and valid for you. When you hear a teaching or message, you should always test it out.

Many people see themselves as the sum of the past, the result of everything they've accumulated along the way. That's one way to look at life. I prefer to look at it another way. As I see it, the person I am today is perfectly positioned for my future. The future, not the past, has conspired to put me where I am in this moment, in this place, in this position in my life, so that I can claim the potential that awaits me.

Even though the things we do in this physical world may continually misrepresent who we are, let's never forget for even one second that the divine spark that is God resides within each one of us.
