The way to learn about the Soul is to be open to the possibility that it exists; accept the possibility you are more than your body, your thoughts, or your feelings. You don't have to believe it. You don't have to have faith. Just be open to the possibility that it exists.

When you make the positive choice by making room for others as well as yourself, you are casting yourself in a role that can lead you to wealth, inner and outer.

What can one person do to make a difference in this world, to make a positive impact? Some people say it is about having money or connections. To me, we can make a positive difference living in our own personal integrity. Being true to oneself is the heart of personal integrity.

The Blessing Dear Lord and all of Your creation, we bring ourselves before You to the holy place, that You have contacted us in the consciousness of the Soul. We ask that You open up our individual consciousnesses so that we may have Your truth and love revealed to us and that we may expand our ability to comprehend and understand. We give thanks for the consciousness we call the Christ and the Mystical Traveler. We appreciate that the opportunity is rarified, as many are called but few choose back. And what does it matter how many have chosen when each one You have chosen meets up directly with You? In Your consciousness, You take each one in completely, such that each of us becomes the Beloved. And as You are the way, each one chosen by You becomes the way and the truth and the Light. Those of us who are gathered together as the Beloved and who, for now, remain in this world give thanks for Your protection, for Your strength, and for knowing the purpose that is the Soul. We are here to fulfill the spiritual promise. We are here creating through grace, the grace of the Beloved. Baruch Bashan.

To utilize the creative imagination, you take a thought of what you want, losing weight as an example, and you see yourself slimmer. You create that image -- you image-in or imagine -- and you keep putting that image inside you. You hold that as a focus until you become that. The key is that you must have the correct image, and when you have it clearly, take that image and put it in your mind and consciousness. You put in what you want more of, what you are going to commit to.

The Soul realm is the realm on which true liberation is found. Not until you are awakened to your Soul will you find the freedom that is your joy and your heritage.

You can say "I forgive you" to someone you think has harmed you. You can apologize to someone you have hurt. But in reality, doing that is beside the point. Everyone is already forgiven by God. The person we've judged is already forgiven, and so, for that matter, are we. But if we're holding any negativity towards another, then we need to forgive ourselves. Even if the other person is long gone from our lives, we're still carrying them inside. So it is inside us that we need to make peace. In forgiving ourselves, the weight of the negative judgment is lifted.

Some people say, "I love you," to express the overflow of divine energy. Others say, "I love you," in an effort to hold on to a particular relationship. People may use emotional persuasion to keep a relationship going: "I need you." "Don't leave me." "Tell me you love me." If words and emotions did it, there wouldn't be separation or divorce. There is clearly more required to keep a relationship going than words and emotions. What, then, keeps a loving relationship together? The same thing that creates spontaneous spiritual understanding: an awakening to the inner truth that already is. And it's not just one awakening. It is a constant awakening. You understand, and you express this understanding within yourself and in relationship to others, and you continue your process of spiritual inner awareness.

Why is the heart getting me to do something I say I'll never do again? Because the heart wants to serve.

John-Roger, DSS
At times my humanity gets the best of me. I react. I forget. So one of my prayers is, "Forgive me for forgetting I am divine."
