When you are relaxed, you are more sensitive and aware. You know not to react when someone says something potentially upsetting or negative. You have the presence to say inside you one very effective word, "deflect." This single word can work wonders against a verbal or psychic attack. There is no need to give up your center for someone else's upset or let negativity build in or around you. It can be handled in a relaxed way.

Loving energy is within you and is also a divine gift that is a powerful force supporting accomplishment, achievement, and acceptance.

What is the most beautiful gift you can give? The gift of yourself.

You can go within yourself and focus on those elements in you that are the essence of loving. Get in touch with the core of humanity within you. Get in touch with all the wonderful, real, positive elements of your own nature. Be in relationship to your caring, your empathy, your understanding heart. Do what it takes to evoke a loving awareness in you, and then see every human being (including the infamous "them") through your own love-colored glasses.

When you see the Lord, catch up. When you stray, the Lord is prepared to follow you and follows wherever you go, calling to you to come to where you belong, waiting ever patiently until you choose to return.

You exist on many levels of consciousness at the same time. It can take awhile to know this for yourself, and you will truly know through your experience. That experience can come through an intuitive flash, for example, but for most people it comes with continuous practice -- and the most effective way of practicing I have found is spiritual exercises, an active form of meditation.

Not a single moment goes by that does not bring you the opportunity to know the Soul more deeply and more fully.

"But seek first the kingdom of God. . . and all these things shall be added to you" [Matthew 6:33]. Through misinterpretation of that statement, man has worshiped an outer God, looking for God somewhere in a church building, a temple, a tabernacle, on the top of a mountain, on the bottom of the ocean, on the moon, and so on. We did not hear the rest of the directive, which is, "The kingdom of God is within you" [Luke 17:21]. You can't be much more specific than that.

When Spirit asks you to extend kindness and consideration to another human being, say "Yes."

We can solve our problems rapidly by making the supportive decision at the moment, not after the occurrence. Deciding after the occurrence is the approach of the intellect. The intelligence, however, tells you to keep aware, keep awake, keep flowing with the present, and keep making the decisions that enhance your positive expression and your spiritual fulfillment.
