Search the Loving Each Day Quotes

"But seek first the kingdom of God. . . and all these things shall be added to you" [Matthew 6:33]. Through misinterpretation of that statement, man has worshiped an outer God, looking for God somewhere in a church building, a temple, a tabernacle, on the top of a mountain, on the bottom of the ocean, on the moon, and so on. We did not hear the rest of the directive, which is, "The kingdom of God is within you" [Luke 17:21]. You can't be much more specific than that.

When Spirit asks you to extend kindness and consideration to another human being, say "Yes."

We can solve our problems rapidly by making the supportive decision at the moment, not after the occurrence. Deciding after the occurrence is the approach of the intellect. The intelligence, however, tells you to keep aware, keep awake, keep flowing with the present, and keep making the decisions that enhance your positive expression and your spiritual fulfillment.

Please, do not be cross with me, and I will hold the same for you. Let us be about our purpose with God, that together, in this moment, we may behold the grand design.

If you know that you are one with the source, then you don't feel tense or needy. You don't feel lack or pressure. You're poised. You're silent. You're peaceful. You can work harmoniously with anything that comes your way and then let it go, because you are free.

Above all, look for the loving, which is how all of this works. Without love, no matter what else we have, it will not work. And if we have love, no matter what else we do not have, it will work.

We not only love each other, we honor each other and respect each other and allow the space of growth for each other. It's the sacredness of "Not my way, Lord, Your way."

It has been said that sin is ignorance, and it's true that a lot of suffering comes about because we don't know what's going on. Ignorance is darkness, and in the darkness, you sometimes fall.

The most devastating hurt that can be inflicted on you starts when you disregard yourself. Their power to hurt is only that which you grant. Start with accepting yourself exactly as you are right now. Self-approval comes next, and if you don't approve, do what you have to in order to get there, and loving will take place. Love yourself with all your strengths and weaknesses; love yourself unconditionally. Anytime you run into expressions that no longer feel comfortable for you, you can change them, but remember to accept and love yourself through it all. Just as you are now, you are worthy of your own love.
