When we go to sleep, we may not go into the unconscious, as some people think. We may go into the Spirit. The Bible says that if you want to know God, worship God in the Spirit, that is, the Soul. (It did not say to worship God in the flesh.) The Soul is connected to the Spirit, and at that moment of being in the Soul, you can have total fulfillment and worship because you are spiritually alive.

Is it possible to see God? Absolutely. In fact, that happens to be the business that I'm in, telling people that there is a God, so that they can see God. Of course, you may think you need to be a rare individual to be able to see God, but perhaps you don't need to be rare at all, just very ordinary. Perhaps if you're loving and you're caring, you may see God in the loving and in the caring. When you are of service to other people, you may see God in the serving.

When a Soul is stirred to awaken, to move on into its greater awareness, the paradoxes of life are placed before it to see if, in the expression of this part of God's kingdom, it can indeed express Godliness.

Your freedom lies in making your own choices. You do not have to accept someone else's vision of you. You do not even have to dislike them. If they dislike you, that is their negativity to deal with as they choose. You will be further ahead to leave their judgments for them to handle. You don't have to look to anyone else for approval. Go inside for the only approval that's true. Once you discover your own approval, with integrity and no illusions, you will then know what freedom is. And no one can take that away.

The spiritual promise is not of this world. It's in Spirit. It's of God and in the perfection of what God is, always regardless of the conditions and limitations that appear in the world.

When you recognize the integrity that lives in your heart and match it with your thoughts, you are well on your way to creating an inner life of joy and abundance. Then when you match those thoughts with the actions of integrity, the likelihood is that all aspects of your life, from intimate relationships to finances, will come into balance. From the foundation of integrity, you can have joy, abundance, and success on all levels.

If the information works for you, use it. If it does not work for you, have the wit to let it go, bearing in mind that this may change over time. What is working today may not work tomorrow, and, conversely, what does not work today may work for you tomorrow. So we strive to remain open to each new experience.

We are conditioned to look out in the world for the source of our fulfillment. And when things don't go the way we want, we try to find someone or something to blame. Attempting to control is trying to make life work. But life already works. Placing the blame outside ourselves is a misguided attempt to regain a sense of control. The fact is, we never were in control. We never had any control to lose. We don't have control over anything outside ourselves. Life is always happening according to its rules, not ours. When we move into full cooperation with life, it can appear that we're in control, but in reality, we are simply in a harmonious flow with life.

Not one Soul is going to be lost. In fact, there aren't any lost Souls. The Soul always knows where it is. It just doesn't care. The Soul knows it is going to outlast your body, it knows it's going to outlast the thoughts you've been having, it knows it's going to go beyond the imagination, and your feelings have betrayed you for so long that it pays little attention to them. So why shouldn't it be happy in these lower worlds? Our misidentification causes us to go into the quandary of the mind to second-guess. And yet the Soul says, "I'm here, I'm present. I'm not over there. I'm here, I'm present. This is the moment."
