Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
The big key for me was when I realized I could shift my attitude, that I was fully responsible for myself, no matter what the weather was like or what the people around me were doing. And I am still responsible for what I create for myself, moment by moment. I am also the one in control of my creation, as you are the one in control of yours. Nothing has to be labeled "good" or "bad." It is all in your attitude; it is all in your approach.
Be careful of whatever within you that attempts to throw up the lie, to justify not changing for the better, giving all the reasons why you should not choose for the better. Dare to change for the better. Find the courage, find your freedom, find your willingness, and keep your focus on the blessings, which is the greater good available to choose now.
As you increase your awareness of now, look at the level of your emotions. You have no responsibility to past feelings or probable future feelings. Your responsibility is to now. All you need to do is accept your emotions in the moment, work within that present structure, and continually let go and move freely to the next moment. This method automatically handles past feelings as you always keep yourself up-to-date. It's all now. No moment of awareness is not now.
My spiritual teachers had experienced their divinity. They were awakened to their Souls. It was what they sought to teach me and others. But it's really impossible to teach about the Soul because the sense of it almost has to be caught, not learned. That's why spiritual teachers often seem to talk nonsense. They are trying to communicate, to impart something about an essence that is beyond words, beyond thought, beyond the senses of this world.
The false self doesn't want to give up being the center of our universe. It wants to engage us in a fight because that very act of taking a position, of opposing the false self, keeps the game going on its terms. But if, instead of fighting the false self, we love it without conditions, we enter the realm of the true self. Automatically, the game ends.
The supply of loving goes beyond anything or anyone that uses it, no matter how much is required. There are no limits to loving.
When Jesus manifested that Christ Spirit in the world, it became easier for us to recognize it and realize that each of us possesses a part of that within ourselves. St. Paul wrote, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5). This means that you are one with the Christ within and that God is totally present with you. Your challenge is to reach inside yourself and discover the God part and to work with it all the time. It is a never-ending process.
We cannot shirk the responsibility of always calling forth the Christ in everyone wherever we go. And we will only truly have the Christ awakened when we start to see it looking out of the eyes of everyone who looks at us. Forgiveness does not accomplish that; it is a process that brings you to that. Then you must, out of your own volition or will, once again enter into Christ and become God manifesting in the world again as this personality, as the Christ in you that is the very direct extension of God doing God. - John Roger
There are ways to get into the heavens through the physical level: prayer, meditation, contemplation, and spiritual exercises. When you pray you ask God, when you meditate you listen, and when you contemplate you think about what you heard and how you are going to work that. The fourth way -- and this is what we do in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness -- is called spiritual exercises, or s.e.'s. Soul and Spirit are active, and it takes an active process to move into the Soul, which is why I teach spiritual exercises. This is the one that goes through the heavens into the Kingdom of God, while the other three take you only into the Kingdom of Heaven.
The spiritual promise is that thing that is inside of you that you have done nothing to earn from this level here. Jesus the Christ was a spiritual promise. From Spirit he was promised in and came through, and he fulfilled it.
