Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Often you try to get other people to be exactly like you. You label, categorize and pigeonhole so you can get your universe neatly under your control and do with it whatever you want. "Normal" people sometimes allow this to happen. Abnormal people may say, "Hey, I can't breathe your air and digest your food. You have to do that yourself. And I will breathe and digest however I feel like doing it." Now, that's abnormal. Or is it normal?
Go on a happiness safari. There is no limit on how much you can hunt when what you are looking for is to be happy. And if that pursuit takes you into the wild, then be wildly happy.
God has chosen us, and we choose whether or not to choose back to God, whether or not to choose our Souls above the world.
Everyone in your life can help you get in touch with the many aspects of yourself that are within you, and everyone can assist you in awakening to your loving. As you continually involve yourself in your own movement of spiritual inner awareness, your awakening will happen in its own natural rhythm. As you awaken, you can anchor Spirit in your life here, and, through attunement, you can discover Spirit and bring It to this level.
This love we teach in MSIA is the love of understanding, acceptance, and support. It's the love that says, "Whatever you do is fine. I'll assist you, and I'll lift you." It's a peaceful, easy-going, flowing love.
Who you are is a Soul, and from the point of view of the Soul, there is nothing wrong with anything that is happening in your life. For the Soul, there are only experiences. Shifting any feelings of wrongness over your experiences or how you are handling them takes a change of focus and attitude. This does not mean to deny what is going on but to acknowledge it and then focus on the good things in your life and be grateful for them. Your connection to the Traveler might be a good place to start, and you can go on from there.
I think you have to be really strong to be a worker in a hospice. I think you need compassion beyond any measure and the passion to go on beyond any fulfillment. Most people get closest to God at two important points in their lives -- at birth and at death. We come in from God with a message of life, and we return to God with a message of eternal Life. So serving in a hospice is a great way to serve. It's the time to assist others in making peace with everything in them and around them.
Remember that we are of God. We walk through this life with God beside us as our guide. We are never alone, never separated, always loved and cared for. We are one in God's heart.
You can trust that God understands that you want more enjoyment, that you want to contribute and participate in making your life work in ways that are happy and fulfilling. That process is already in motion and becoming the reality of your life. It is already taking place, and you are allowed to participate fully as your destiny. When you do fully participate, you can experience improvement in the conditions in which you live and upliftment within.
All around us we can see people who have managed to find a blessing in the midst of tragedy. If you can take just one day and live it with full awareness that you are completely responsible for whatever happens, and if you can observe yourself neutrally and lovingly in the process, you will be transformed. You will see everything as perfect, and will realize that life really is as simple as breathing in and breathing out.
