A lot of people who volunteer to do the work of Spirit do better than the people who are paid because they're doing it for the joy of serving and wanting to do it. The employees are often just doing it for the money. Do you understand that there's a real difference? There's a greater willingness in the volunteer to serve unconditionally in the "Father's house."

Keep in mind that this world is conditioned energy, and what you are reaching for is a loving that is unconditional. That loving is always available, but you must be available to it, without conditions.

Jesus was born in a manger to show us that we start from where we are. You don't have to wait till you get to the king or queen's throne before you take off for your destiny. One of the best pieces of advice that I can give you is to start from where you are, right now. Don't try to repair anything, don't try to fix anything, don't try to change anything. Let this moment be the starting point, right here, right now, and just go up from this point.

The Soul is always as close as our next breath. It is actually a very simple thing to choose the Soul. It is simply a matter of consistently choosing the positive, rather than the negative.

The message is really simple: Love each other.

Taking care of yourself is loving yourself. You release the downward flow of energy and circulate it back up again. Experience the devotion to yourself that allows you to take care of yourself.

You start serving the world because that serving solidifies the bridge into grace. You've heard me say that there is no higher consciousness on the planet than service. That doesn't mean scrubbing the floors. It means being with the person next to you for their upliftment, perhaps even silently.

We often say to ourselves, "After I'm successful I'll be able to do this, and then I'll do this, then this…" Yet all the time we already have what we want inside of us. How ironic. Outside, where we think the answers lie, there will always be more we want, no matter how much we have. Inside, we are wealthy beyond measure, and there is nothing stopping us from taking full advantage of our treasure except our minds, which always want to play an outer game. To win the outer game, certain things have to happen: getting that job, receiving that raise, winning that contract, getting married, etc. Our satisfaction depends on circumstances. But the inner life of loving, joy, and relaxation can be fulfilling regardless of circumstances.

Even with whatever is unnecessary, as much as that might be in this world, we can find value and learning through all that occurs. We are learning how we can turn whatever occurs into that which lifts, balances, heals, and serves.
