Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
If I want more joy, that's for my own gain. One of the ways I get more joy is to share it with you. It's a living paradox. The more I give away, the more I get.
Anticipate joy at every moment.
As you attune to the blessings, be aware of what takes place inside of you. When we experience disturbance or pain, we often are being shown places where we have closed ourselves off through some form of denial or judgment. The loving energy that is there for us as a blessing is then closed off and restricted, so we may feel hurt or disturbance. Consider that when something hurts or presents disturbance, it asks and perhaps even requires that the unmanifest blessings be released. Your awareness and focus are keys to releasing the blessings.
The Soul will not entertain you. It's not its job to create psychic phenomena. Your job is to sit in silence and be open to the Soul and start the process of awakening to your knowing. As you awaken, the Soul can replace the ego and personality as the center of consciousness and energy, though it still uses the vehicles of the mind, the emotions, the imagination, and the body to function in the world.
It's okay to feel the pain of the separation and the desires, and you don't have to focus on those. You do have choices. You can direct yourself into the positive and choose those actions that will bring you the greatest joy and that will be best for you. The negative feelings won't last. You will. And that's what counts.
When you experience God, you experience love, the love that transcends all the physical limitations and touches into your deepest, most sacred place, and you know you are in the presence of your divinity. Loving is of greatest value to you.
If you maintain a loving neutrality towards your ups and downs, one day you will wake up and find yourself living in the loving heart, and you will know that all your experiences were but rungs on the ladder that led you there.
I have a friend who fell and broke his femur (thigh bone). It was very debilitating for him and, needing to spend months in a wheelchair, he got quite depressed. A good friend of his who was visiting him in the hospital told him, "Now is the time to use everything you know." He used the year in recovery to make new discoveries, re-examine his life, and develop a new and more interesting vocation. When he told me this story, I said that his accident turned out to be a wonderful blessing. He looked at me intensely and said, "No! I made it a blessing." I realized that he was showing me a great truth. He was exercising his divinity to make a positive choice and change the pathway of his life. He used what happened to him for his upliftment, learning, and growth. He used the experience as a stepping stone instead of a stumbling block. When we do this, we manifest the divine. To stay a victim, to judge ourselves, or others, or the state of the world, exercises our ego and personality; it does not exercise our divinity.
Now in whatever ways you live your life in this world, always know You Are the Blessings.
Consider that first and foremost you are a Soul, and your personality, emotions, mind, talents, and abilities are nothing more than the various coats you have acquired on your travels here in the physical realm. Even as you wear these coats, you can experience the "you" that lies beneath them. Is there a coat you don't like? Perhaps you can forgive any experience you've judged as negative. Perhaps you can embrace it and gain the learning from it.
