Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
We have a constant opportunity to love people past their behavior, to love them unconditionally, and then turn around and do the same thing towards ourselves.
A big part of my work with people has been to demonstrate to them that they are divine, through stories, metaphors, the updating of the esoteric teachings of old, and above all personal experience. To show them that no matter what they do, the spark of divinity lies within them waiting to be awakened through their loving attention. Many people "get it" and then they fall out of it again. Most people don't get it at all because they use their bodies, mind, and emotions as a reference point and compare themselves to others. By judging themselves and others, they miss the whole point. I have often wondered how they can miss what is immediately present within them, closer to them than their next breath. It may be because they feel that their divinity has to manifest as some radiant light, that they need to be able to heal people with a look, or somehow levitate. While it is true that spiritually we do radiate and are known through our level of Light, in this physical day-to-day world, our divinity mostly expresses through our ordinariness.
Inside of you, there is a place of tremendous richness, a vast array of beautiful treasures and riches, enough for everyone and more than you can behold. Understand that what you can behold is yours. So if you can see it, it is yours. There is no limit on what you can behold. So do not even consider the limit. God offers you the kingdom, and throughout all this kingdom there is no lack.
Looking from a different altitude, with the proper attitude here on Earth, my life really might be quite simple. It might be nothing more than learning and expanding, holding the focus of love and Light for myself and for others. It might be as simple as living and demonstrating the wisdom of the heart, and becoming increasingly devoted to God and to Spirit and to my own Soul. This sounds so easy. And from a higher perspective, it is easy. Even on the physical level, it is simple, though sometimes far from easy.
You don't need to despair and get discouraged if things don't always seem to go your way. The situations of this world are teaching devices. If you feel desperate, this may make you focus and direct yourself. If you are discouraged, this can make you say, "Why is this going on?" Then you may start searching and precipitating down the answers. Your answers are already within you, and if you would sit down quietly for 20 or 30 minutes, you could have your answers.
It would be a mistake to think that because you don't have "enough money" (however you define that) or have money struggles, this necessarily reflects on your relationship with God, just as it would be a mistake to think that if you had "more than enough" money (however you define that), this somehow proves something about your relationship with God. Your attitude towards all that happens to you is a greater indicator of your openness to the Spirit in your life than are the specific occurrences (e.g., money or lack of it). In other words, you could be very poor and challenged even more than you are now and still have an alive and joyful awareness of God's presence with you. And you can also have that if you're more well-off. It's the attitude. And if your attitude is one of feeling separation, judgment, etc., then there are MSIA seminars and books that can give keys to making changes.
Once you get in touch with your own inner loving, the external reflection can more easily appear.
Always maintain a sense of being grateful for all of your blessings.
Each new experience contributes to your wisdom and growth.
If we see ourselves as having any spiritual component at all, we might think that the split is at best fifty-fifty between personality and Soul. But, in reality, it's more like ninety-ten in favor of the spiritual side, the true self. The true self is like the sun: it's much bigger and brighter than the false self, which, like the moon, generates no light in itself and shines only as a reflection of the sun.
