Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Q: Do you have any advice to help me be more loving at difficult times in my marriage? A: It is your challenge time. Here is the answer: Be purposefully loving. Q: I realize that my loving isn't going to be truly unconditional. A: It doesn't matter if it is unconditional. Just get some kind of loving moving in you at that time, and then let it go unconditional in its own time.
One way we can enter the field of the true self is through observation. We all have an inner observer that watches us as we play out our human experience in the world. This inner observer is aware of the body and its movement. It notices when we are lost in fantasy or when we feel depressed. It watches our minds drive us crazy with racing thoughts and nonstop chatter. When you ask the question, "Who am I?" it is the observer who knows. This awareness is present and alert at all times, monitoring the body, mind, emotions, and imagination. The observer is nonjudgmental, neutral, and unconditionally loving. This is the true self.
The Holy Spirit will use you when you clear yourself to allow it to flow into your consciousness and out into the other levels. When you're not sure what to do in a certain situation, you can just ask for Light "for the highest good of all concerned," and the Holy Spirit can then flow through you in whatever way is clear. You then walk in a divine consciousness that says, "Whatever happens is okay."
Consider that we are powerful creators in partnership with God. We are vehicles of Light. We are instruments of the Divine. We are chosen and now are choosing back. In our willingness to be instruments, we are attuned to the highest Light. Serving in the Light asks us to be open to the will of God. Sometimes we may not want to be bothered. We may consider that because we have enough personal troubles, we do not want to take on troubles that are not ours. The opportunity to serve God comes in freedom, and in freedom of choice we are to serve.
But there is truly no rush to go anywhere. Nobody is leaving this earth alive. The true self waits patiently for us to come to it. So why not slow down and enjoy the path of self- discovery?
The best thing you can do to enhance your self-trust is to develop the habit of taking responsibility for all your creations (which is everything in your life) and completing what you start.
When people hit against me with their unkind words, I think, "God bless you. There must be so much turmoil inside of you to have to do that. It must really be difficult living with all that hurt and agony inside. So I won't do anything to make it worse for you."
The multilevels of consciousness present inside you are linked together in such a way that you can experience an awareness of them. To be consciously aware of any or all of these levels, you need only expand the consciousness to encompass them. The way to expand the consciousness instantly is to move directly into the Soul, which has all vision, all knowledge. It takes great discernment to do this, and when you do, you will experience the Soul consciously. Prior to that, you are "dead" to this level when you are most alive to the Soul level. This is because in the spiritual realms of Soul, there is no time and no memory. It is spontaneous awareness. You do not bring back memory of that level to the physical level. What you can do is move back and forth between the levels quickly; you bridge the levels more and more swiftly, so that you develop multidimensional awareness by having it, not by remembering it. It is not a process of memory. It is actually a process of spontaneously moving between one level and the other, until you can do it so quickly that it appears you are aware of both levels simultaneously.
Let's say you are here in this world to learn how to drive. These lessons may encompass many aspects of the territory you drive in: the way the streets are laid out, traffic laws, local customs, and much more. Imagine that your Soul, sitting in the passenger seat, knows the best way home. Consider being patient and trusting of your Soul's direction. Ask in simplicity, "Where shall we go?" See how skilled you can become at listening and then following the "left," "right," "right again," and "steady as she goes" directions your Soul is giving you.
All people are wealthy and beautiful in their essence, regardless of their material circumstances. If someone is living on the street, it does not mean their life is lacking. That is just a judgment we can make about them. Even if they are complaining, moaning, and groaning about their life, that is a judgment the person is making about himself or herself. It is not the truth of who they are. In truth, they are blessed with the infinite beauty and wealth that is God.
