Tests are not necessarily tribulations. They are areas of revelation. Tests are for you to reveal unto yourself where you have to work and what you have to do. You can say, "This is neat," and go toward it and clear it. You can't get away from it so you might just as well go toward it and clear it. Or, if it can't be cleared immediately, maybe you're to learn patience or experience a certain level to learn compassion. There are many possibilities. And all you have to do in any situation is use it to direct yourself in a positive consciousness.

In the Bible it says, "He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully" (2 Corinthians 9:6). When we place ourselves in alignment with the Spirit or God as we know It, then God will place who God is and what God is in alignment with us. So if you are sowing to God, if you are placing your energy and your life towards God, then God is what you bear. God is the fruit or the fruits that come to you. It is a simple idea, and, of course, it is neither unique to any person nor new. It is written in the Bible, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33). That is God's promise to us all.

If you would practice Soul Transcendence, seek to be honest and genuine in your daily life.

The idea here is to transcend the consciousness of limitation. Whether limited by words or your own feelings, if you dwell in limitation, you dwell in poverty somewhere inside. To transcend, you draw to yourself what you need in order to see where you are inside, and then you lift above that. In other words, if you have been shaken by words in the past, you may continue to draw that level of hurt to you until you can learn to transcend and clear yourself of that limitation. That is why I recommend for you to reside in the Beloved. From there you transcend all limitations from a place of unconditional loving.

Love is the only channel for clear communication, and the quality of loving communicates far more than words. That's important to keep in mind as you deal with people. What will truly communicate Spirit and God to others is your loving. The words won't matter much. You can say, "Where's a good place to eat?" or "What's new with you?" or "Have you read any good books lately?" -- and if you ask with a consciousness of loving support, people will get the loving behind the words.

There is only one message from God, although there are many ways that it's said and many ways that it's expressed. That one message is that all things come from God. Everything has its existence because God is. There is great security in knowing this. God is multidimensional; God is everywhere, in all things and in all levels of consciousness. So the things that appear to be negative are only learning devices, not punishments. And Jesus said that "when you have done it to the least one of these, you have done it to me" (Matthew 25:40). Because all things come out of God, if we become prejudiced against one, we have become prejudiced against the awakening of our own consciousness of love.

The Traveler will never counsel you, on any level, to hurt or harm yourself or anyone else. It will never counsel you to cheat or to lie. It will never counsel you to go against the laws of the land, to be destructive, or to be deceitful. The Traveler will never ask you to divulge that which is sacred and secret.

Look for the good that is present and realize your gratitude. You can look for even greater good by asking, "How can I assist? How can I make things better inwardly and outwardly?"

Because energy follows thought, my advice has always been to hold thoughts that uplift you. Hold images in your mind that you want more of. Be careful what you ask for because if you get it, you also get what goes with it -- which is fine if, when it does come your way, you are prepared to handle it to completion.

And when you are an initiate of the Traveler and are working closely and consciously with Spirit, there is no need to ask for anything beyond whatever is for your highest good for your next level of unfoldment. All things are already being brought to you to lift you, to purify you, to prepare you to receive the keys of God's kingdom.
