Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
The sacred scriptures all over the world have a similar message in their texts. The message is, "He wins who endures to the end." That is another way of saying, "Finish. Complete." The spiritual energy becomes available immediately when the demand for it is placed. It doesn't become available by sitting down and waiting. We must demand of the Spirit -- not with our minds or with our emotions but with the physical movement of the body -- in order to have the spiritual energy supplied to us. That's one of the prime reasons we have a physical body.
Societies will fall many, many times in the evolution of the planet, and governments will come and go; that is the nature of this planet. But the Spirit stays forever. The key is this: reach always into the Spirit for the highest good of all and perceive all situations from that point.
Faith is unseen substance, like air is unseen substance. We can demonstrate the existence of air as a substance by lighting incense and letting it float in the air. What is holding it up? The unseen substance. We cannot see it, but if we put color in it (the incense smoke), we get to see what the substance is. The way we see faith is by our actions. Our actions produce the "color" in the faith, and that faith is the platform on which we step forward into nothingness, the future. The glory descends upon us, and we are sustained by the grace of God.
There is no need for comparison or envy when we encounter someone who thinks they're so wonderful and great, because we can all smile in the knowledge that they are going to be part of the ordinariness before too long. The Beloved eventually reduces us all to ordinariness, because ordinariness is the prior condition to God.
It is important not to set up a hierarchy of consciousness for a reference point, but to lay things out on a horizontal continuum. That way you don't have to look at anything as being good or bad or at the top or bottom -- things are just here and here and here and here. And you simply approach each thing as a matter-of-fact "here it is." And if you're saying to yourself, "Oh my God, I have this thing inside of me. It just keeps coming up -- I hear it. And now I have this symbol in my mind. It's always here. What is it?" the answer is, "It doesn't matter. There is no way to know." And if you ask, "What can I do with it?" the answer is, "Nothing." And if you ask, "How can I get rid of it?" the answer is, "Get busy and do something physical." That will resolve the dilemma.
You can always begin by asking for more awareness of the blessings in what is present.
I found out a long time ago that what the Lord does is perfect, and there is nothing designed to hurt or harm you.
Many people are becoming aware of their true selves, their divinity. They say, simply, "I know now." Their reward is to awaken.
Some people who are living in grace and have been for a long time are moving very slowly into the realization of it. After maybe ten or twelve years of Soul Awareness Discourses, they go back and read Discourse 1 or 2 and realize, "Oh, my God, I am really full of something beautiful." They may look at the notes they wrote in the early Discourses and realize that they do not go through those things anymore.
If you have established yourself in consciousness on the Soul level, you move into that realm, and the pattern of return is broken. Once you move above the fifth realm, into positive Spirit, you do not have to return again to the physical earth. Your own Soul stands as the judge and places you on the correct realm, on the appropriate level. There is no outside judge; your own Soul judges you -- and so honestly that you can't cheat even a little bit. It knows everything you've done and thought and felt, so it can be completely fair. And it is completely fair.
