Don't forget, even the smallest of things has its Light. And as we admire that, let's also admire the Light in the biggest things and in each other, in our thoughts, our ideas, our creations, in everything.

Q: Can each married partner pick up karma from the other? A: Absolutely, because you're involved in it right here and now. This is where karma comes in. Say one partner brings forward the karma of alcoholism, and the other one doesn't. Yet the alcoholic one says, "Come on, honey. Let's get drunk." She may say, "Well, okay." And before you know it, she's saying to him, "Let's get drunk." He may say, "I don't want to. I'm through with that." She says, "You pulled me down!" He may say, "I've got another woman anyway, so don't worry about it." These things can happen, and they can be sad sometimes.

Let love be your guiding star. Let it be your guide, your breath, your life. Then you live in the heart of God and are renewed every moment through God's love.

Loving one another relates to being of service, which in turn relates directly to ministry and moving into a divine consciousness. Loving relates directly to taking care of others. Right in the core of what is important to do with your life is to take care of yourself. As soon as you have done that, you are on to helping take care of others as both a sacred honor and responsibility. Serve well.

People sometimes feel that life is unfair and that they don't deserve the things that happen to them. But it's just not so. When you cry out, "Lord, why me?", the reply might very well be, "Because you promoted it, it's coming to you, and I love you so much that I'll allow you to experience and learn from your own creation." Human beings are proficient creators. You always get the things you have worked to create, and that applies equally to things positive and the negative. You get the return in proportion to the effort you put forth -- physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We are creators, and we are very adept at it. So when something happens in your life that you either like or dislike, take a look at what you did to bring it to yourself.

In the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA), we use two words: Ani (pronounced ahn-eye) and HU (pronounced hue). They can be said slowly or rapidly, high or low. You can experiment with them until you attune to their vibration. I've seen groups chant "Ani-Hu" in unison, and it works. A person may repeat it only a couple of times and it will work, while others have to chant it 30 to 40 times before it stops sounding alien and strange. Spiritual exercises become very easy to do as we upgrade our life from addictive, habitual, obsessive behavior, into the unconditional loving of the Beloved.

Before we can know the Light, we must partake of the dark. And in the depth of darkness, there is great light. Many people fear darkness because it has traditionally contained black magic and evil, terrible things. Yet, these are all just interpretations of the consciousness, the conditioning, and the personality of the beholder. The things we call witchcraft, black magic, and the occult arts are still just a part of that thing that is the Beloved, manifesting in many diverse ways. Sure, it is the negative side of things, but it is unwise to get negative about negativity.

Q: I feel that the love I have for my mother is totally different from the love she professes to have for me. What is the spiritual understanding in this situation? A: There are many kinds and types of love. They do not all have to be the same, as all love comes from God and how we express it comes from us.

You awaken to the Light and to the inner Christ through loving, laughter, empathy, and involvement with all life as it presents itself to you. As you move through all the experiences that come to you, both in the outer world and in the inner levels of your consciousness, and as you use empathy, loving, and forgiveness as the criteria for your behavior, you awaken to the inner wisdom of the Christ.

God knew one day, as in all things, man in his soulic movement -- not man as a male, but man as a human being -- would stand forward and speak God's name in truth and honesty in the spirit of his heart. And that which is the good that God has promised to all of us -- the spiritual promise -- would be delivered by, for and through us to all planes of existence. Those times are upon us. That's why we are not teaching how to do things in materiality. We're teaching you the immortality -- that God is the God of all things, and that God does love. I have experienced that. And I've seen God love others, and I have experienced that. And He's not a God that lies, but He's a God that lives the truth of the creation of Himself.
