Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
When I say it takes great courage to see the face of God, it's because you have to see the face of God in all people. That does take a lot of courage because you have to continually move yourself past your personality, prejudices, and points of view, until you recognize your oneness with all other personalities.
Regardless of your story, regardless of where you have come from and what you have brought with you now, there are choices. There are new opportunities for you and everyone. In that way, we're all sharing anew. There are some important, vital things for us to do. We are to forgive ourself and forgive one another, love ourself and love one another. That's about as complicated or simple as it gets. Choosing not to forgive and love makes it complicated. Choosing to forgive and love makes it simple and, ultimately, easy, as we fully choose to forgive and love all.
You can stop what you are doing just in this moment, to move behind your eyes to who you are. It is so easy to identify with the body, thinking that you're your stomach that's upset, or that you're the pain in your back or in your shoulder, or even that you are your gray hair or wrinkles. Let's just take a minute to see if we can find out who you are: Relax the body. Focus on your breathing, flowing in and out. Receive your breath, then let it go. Just allow that process for one minute. Now, let your emotions go. If you have an uptight feeling in your stomach or back, or anywhere, just leave it alone. Be quiet with the body. Be still with the emotions for one minute. Now, calm the mind by being completely present. No body movement. No emotions. No mind. Who is doing that inside of you? Who has quieted the body? Stilled the emotions? Calmed the mind? That, my Beloved, is you. You, who are much more than body, emotions, and mind. It's the eternal you that can do that.
As you become more into Spirit, I think you'll find out that the one who laughs in your heart will be the Mystical Traveler.
Q: What does it mean that we are our "brother's keeper"? That feels like it could be controlling. A: We are all our brothers' keepers, but not as prison keepers. We keep our brothers free by allowing them the individual experience of their own lives, the way they see it.
To live from the level of your true self, you give yourself over to the truth of your own beingness completely. Then you find yourself moving into an awareness of your Soul consciousness, and in that you find your freedom. What it comes down to, always and forever, is the commitment to yourself, and that starts when, ten billion times a day, ten billion percent, you commit to the upliftment and the unfoldment that is your spiritual nature. You commit yourself to yourself -- not to the personality or the emotions or the body or the wallet, but to that very essence of God that we identify as the Soul.
You best be about getting on with the truth and embracing it. And if you don't love it yet, learn to love it. The truth is your friend. It's your liberator.
When you're living outside cooperation, life can get rather miserable. You may spend a lot of time just sitting around in a state of restlessness, worry, or anxiety. The doctors call it ulcers or heartburn. It could also be called heartache, despair, agony, and loneliness. You block the flow of energy that is present to be used in action, in DOING. When you block the action, when you don't cooperate with what needs to be done, the energy turns inward and becomes negative, and you move into "down" feelings. Sometimes you curse and blame God for your trouble. God probably didn't have anything to do with it. You do that to yourself. And you can get out of it by DOING, by moving into the positive flow of action, by cooperating with what is present in your life.
To reach the Mystical Traveler Consciousness, you must manifest living love. You must consistently give in living service. Love will not stay stagnant within one individual; it is always in a state of motion. It is the way God shares His nature with the world, and it "sleeps" if it is not shared.
Right now, there is only you and God, the Divine, the Beloved, the Christ, at this moment. That's all. A quiet, a calmness, a resting point.
