Your devotion keeps you moving forward. All you have to do, believe it or not, is keep yourself centered toward the Light consciousness. It's easy. Everyday in every way, turn toward the Light. Ask for the Light in the morning when you get up, when you get to the car, when you get to the gas station, before you get on the freeway, when you park your car, and on the way into work. You'll enhance your realization of Living In God's Holy Thoughts. That's the Light -- all the time.

Acceptance is one of the primary laws of Spirit and one of the most vital keys to spiritual unfoldment. There are two key approaches to working with acceptance. One is to move to the impersonal level inside you, where you are neutral and unattached, seeing the bigger cosmic picture where everything is in its right and proper place. Here you can experience life more clearly and thus accept everything that is going on. The other approach is on the personal level. Here you select what you wish to bring into your life to enrich it, to shape your values, and to support your true quest of spiritual awakening. In other words, you select those things that will work for your highest good and your best expression.

Don't judge or punish yourself for the conflicts, the struggles, or the errors. They are part of life. If you approach each experience with integrity and with loving care for your child and for yourself, that's the best you can do. Your child, too, will learn that conflicts can be faced and handled, particularly when there is loving.

Sometimes one of your biggest challenges will be to keep your mouth shut and let people make their own decisions and travel their own path. It's important. Sometimes you'll "know" that you can see what is best for them, and it will be so tempting to lay it out for them and tell them what it is. Don't do it. Let them come to their own realizations and their own awakenings, in their own time.

Love yourself. This consciousness of inner love very effectively opens you to receive what God can do for you with mercy and grace.

Our life reveals to us what we have to learn next -- not to reveal our failure to us, but to reveal to us where we lacked preparation, where we really weren't thoroughly up on what was going on. So realize that there are valuable lessons to be learned from and in the "games" of the world -- and if you were not still in the process of learning and growing, you would no longer be here in a physical body.

Don't forget that this world is not your home. Your home lies beyond the Soul realm, and you get there through Soul Transcendence. Your job here is to experience. That's all you have to do. It is in the loving of your experience, the loving of your expression, that you discover the inner joy, the bliss that is your indication of the presence of the Traveler.

Spiritual awakening is the process of giving up all forms and conditions that hold you to the material world. Let them go as you do when you breathe. With every new breath, you give up the old breath you took a moment ago. So with this new breath, breathe in Spirit and life and awareness. Now let that go so you can breathe in new life, new awareness, new awakening. It's an ongoing process. It never stops as long as you are on this earth. And when you "die" to this level, you will awaken to a new level and continue in your spiritual awakening.

Honesty can be a great expression of loving. When you share with a person in loving honesty, you do not hurt or push away the person. You assist the person to a new level inside himself or herself. Remember that "being honest" is not license to jam your opinion at someone or to hurt them in the name of "truth." Always be loving in your approach.

Observation is a state of detachment that lifts you into a greater awareness, and you can become more and more free. The process of observing what is so about your life helps release you from ego and can allow the power of God to flow through you. All you have to do is open and say, "Lord, I receive. Thank You for your presence." So thank God for all your experiences. You're here to learn. You grow into your divine potential by very carefully watching all the levels of your consciousness.
