Search the Loving Each Day Quotes

Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.

Q: I am afraid to desire something, even if I say, "for the highest good," because I don't want to get into a desire pattern. A: Wanting something and putting it in the Light doesn't automatically create a desire pattern. It's when you desire something to the point of total distraction that a desire pattern can be created. When you ask for the Light for the highest good in relation to something you want, it is then also important to let it go and forget about it. Just trust that if it's for the highest good, it will come forward, and if it isn't, it most likely won't.

The inner guidance you may receive from Spirit within is that small voice in the wilderness of your heart that is telling you the truth. It's saying, "I am the Beloved. I am the one for whom you have been searching. I am God dwelling in your heart." You awaken to that voice through spiritual exercises, through contemplation, and by taking the time to be with yourself away from the distractions and confusions of the world.

Your future will someday be your present, where you will be able to reap the rewards of what you are doing now. That is why I stress being creative and courageous now. There is nothing wrong with asking yourself what you want in your life. Of course, that intimates that the reward is in the future. Once you recognize what you want, however, you have creative choices in the present that can make your wants into a reality.

You are in the process of discovering your Beloved, your Soul.

To be integrated with your Spirit, speak honestly and act honestly. God is your partner. That means God is going to stand by you. That also means you have nothing to worry about so you can be completely true to yourself. You don't have to worry about a thing. What happens happens. Being true to yourself never goes against God's creation because that would be God being divided against itself.

It seems like there are more terrible things occurring on this planet than there have ever been before. We have had 2000 years of the Christ energy, influence, and information, and there are all these terrible things happening. Is being Christian a failure? Some people might look at it that way, but let's look at another point of view. Have you ever taken a bucket that's been sitting outside, turned on the hose to fill it with water, and had the water gush out of the hose really fast and, as it hits the bucket, all the dirt and debris that's in the bottom shoots up and all over you? You jump back and say, "Oh, my God, I've got junk all over me!" And it looks like there's more junk on you than there ever could have been in the bottom of that bucket. What we are seeing on the planet right now appears to be more junk than ever could have been in the bottom of the bucket. That's because Spirit is being shot into an area that is bringing it all up. The action of Spirit is bringing up all the junk and crud that's been sitting in the bottom of that bucket for centuries. It's being brought up to be dealt with. How do you deal with it? Skim it off. Then you put more water in the bottom of the bucket; you fill it until the junk floats up to the surface and falls away, and then the water flows up naturally clean and pure. Sending the Light for the highest good -- often and neutrally -- helps the bucket get clean. We can apply this analogy to some of the global situations that exist in our world right now. You can also apply it to things that happen in your own life.

We can have different rituals and different names and definitions for spiritual ideas. If they are accompanied by unconditional loving, they can all lead to God. Some people call it heaven. Some people call it the Soul realm. Words and labels are not the experience by itself. They are invented by human beings to help people approach that which cannot be understood by the mind with the mind. It isn't the mind that transcends death. During that passage, there is but one God, who has no name and who resides in a place that has no label because it is all-space, all-loving, all-ways, always.

There are many "voices" that speak to us. When you listen to your own inner voice, most of the time you are listening to your mind, and the mind is taking its information out of the ego. The ego is a product of the mind and the emotions, a composite of all your experiences thrown together, stirred around, and then recycled through your consciousness in forms you may not readily identify. For example, if there was a time long ago when you felt hurt and upset and then a friend took you out for an ice cream sundae and you felt better, you may have linked those two experiences together in your consciousness. At another time when you are feeling similar emotions, the "inner voice" may say, "Take care of yourself." So you go to the ice cream store and have a sundae, and then you have another. You do not feel better, and when you get sick, you might say, "But my inner voice told me to have a sundae." It probably did not say, "Pig out!" That is something you added on to the inner message, which was, "Take care of yourself, feel better."

If we work from the premise that each body walking around here is a reflection of and a vehicle for the Soul to express and experience this level, then we become more thoughtful in what we do and also in what we think. If you recognize that the beingness in you is the same as the beingness in others, you treat the other person with a little more kindness, and you are less likely to hold againstness towards them.

People often try to get you to go along with their trip. Often they think they hear that "inner direction" more clearly than you do, or they think their idea is better than yours. But theirs may be "false doctrine" from start to finish. That's why you must check out everybody. You must check out me. You must check out my teachings. I've never told anybody to believe me or trust me. That would be nonsense. It would be tempting you to your downfall.
