There are no guarantees, particularly in terms of time lines and rewards, but if you are going to get what you want, you may as well face it -- there are dues to be paid. Those dues do not have to be painful. Again, it depends on your attitude. If you dig in with your ego and refuse to change, then you may also be sinking yourself into a rut of resistance. Success rides high and may miss you below it. A great part of self-improvement is a willingness to change. A great part of change is letting go.

One of the things that we are to learn about in life is how to deal with negativity. This negativity can come from other people and from nonphysical beings, can be in a geographical location or attached to a physical object (e.g., a piece of jewelry or a painting), or can be a challenge from the negative power, what I call "the loyal forces of the opposition," whose job is to provide us opportunities to strengthen ourselves spiritually. Since out of God come all things, there is nothing to fear in any of this because it is all within God. At the same time, it is a good idea to learn how to deal with it effectively.

In awareness, you have the opportunity to recognize if emotions have been running your life. If so, you have the opportunity of making choices that will support change and transformation. Notice that I said "choices" again. This is not a choice just on a word level, where you recognize your reactive pattern and say that things will get better. Things do not necessarily get better just because you become aware of a problem and then say it will get better. Things don't necessarily get better even if you pray that they will. But they are likely to get better if you first take responsibility and then take action.

When you find truth in any situation, you are discovering God. When you do not seek to manipulate what presents itself to you, but accept and deal with what is, you are tapping into Spirit.

When we combine our Light together and place it in one point of focus, that focus point becomes the Light of the Universe.

Growth usually comes through making mistakes and then learning from those mistakes. Your role as a parent is to do all you can to ensure that your children have the opportunity to learn rather than repeat the mistakes. You'll know they have learned when their behavior has changed.

When you are an initiate or student of the Mystical Traveler and are working directly with that consciousness, your process of balancing your past actions is being handled through the protection of that grace. The Traveler teaches that all knowledge lies within you and that you will be awakened to this when the time is right and proper. If you trust that, you do not seek others to tell you about your spiritual life. You do spiritual exercises, study the teachings of the Traveler, and go within to find your answers.

Creative imagination is not wishful thinking. It is bringing the divine into action. It is bringing the Spirit into the mind, into the emotions, into the physical body, and into the physical world to manifest it.
