Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
When we don't enter into relationships with openness and responsibility, we reap the harvest. We see it in our country when different groups - black, white, Asian, Mexican, Native American - stand up and start saying, "What about me? What do I really need, what do I really want?" Every person is "me," and I am every person. If I neglect myself, I neglect everyone. And if I come into balance with myself, I come into balance with everyone with whom I come into any type of contact.
I am the Beloved. So are you. There's room for more of the Beloved to be in and amongst us. None of us controls the Beloved. The Beloved is more present because we come together.
When you get to the place where spiritual exercises pull you, that's when this thing becomes a magnificent obsession. It's to take time for you and the Lord - to really take time, joyfully. And you sit and look upon the radiance.
As children and as youngsters, we experiment with many expressions and experiences. It is one way we begin to gain identity in this world, and it is a necessary step in our evolvement. Too often, however, we do not see beyond those various expressions to our Soul essence, the core or center pole of our beingness. If we become a musician, for example, we may think that without our musical expression, we are nothing; we have no value, no place in the world. If we become a teacher, we may identify so greatly with that role that we cannot see ourselves as separate from it. These beliefs are traps of this level. For our Souls have expressed in myriad ways throughout the scope of time and space and remain true to their divine essence, no matter what our expression.
There is a voice within that might be called the voice of experience. It does not come as words; rather, it comes as a feeling-idea, such as, "I shouldn't go there, I don't know why. It just doesn't feel right." Something inside of you is linking up a present level of experience with a past level of experience and is guiding you. You have to learn to trust that. If you truly do not understand where the warning voice is coming from or what it is basing its information on, you can lean into the experience ā being very watchful ā and if you discern what the warning is about and that it is accurate, get out. This is called "discerning the Spirit." You can learn to discern the Spirit by discerning the environment you are in, by knowing when to stay and when to leave.
Q: Is there a way that I can become more attuned to the Christ consciousness through my dreams? A: Ask. As you go to sleep at night, you can ask that you be more attuned to that consciousness of the Christ. You can also ask that the Traveler work with you in whatever way is for your highest good and that you remember that which is beneficial for you to remember, in a way that you can understand. Then, when you wake up, you write down your dreams, or your sense of what went on in the dream state. Use all of this for your advancement. You can really set yourself up for success in having greater and greater awareness of the inner realms, and all of it can lead you to awareness of your Soul and the Soul realm if that is what you want and where you want to go.
When God issued Creation, the eternal quality in it was blessing. What is a blessing? Greater good. That means there's greater good to become. God's will be done. You will be blessed.
Judging ourselves is the basic way that we open to negativity, and if you have negative thoughts and emotions, those can also open you up to negativity. For example, if you are jealous, angry, possessive, fearful, self-righteous, judgmental, etc., the negativity can ride in on those. It can affect both you and the person you feel negatively towards. It is a good idea to become more aware of your own negative thoughts and emotions and to clear them. Doing self-forgiveness and spiritual exercises are the two most effective ways I know to do that.
Loving is a process that happens inside you through the grace of Spirit and by your own ability to be in touch with the God within.
When our hearts are open, we live in what religion calls "God's will," the way of universal harmony and abundance. We live in the flow with the tides and rhythms of nature, and so attuned are we with both the inner and outer things that before we even speak, our needs are supplied.
