Children are often encouraged from an early age to become tyrants through weakness. If there is a test coming up at school, the child may say, "I'm sick, Mom. Can I stay home from school?" She says, "Okay." Then right after the test is over, the child says, "I feel a lot better now. Can I watch television?" And Mom says, "Well, okay." She goes along with the action because her love is an emotional love, not the divine love of doing whatever is best for the child. She doesn't want to hurt the child, and she wants to be right. So she holds back and lets the child get away with these things, even though it might not be the best action for the child. However, if that was the worst thing that happened to us as children, God certainly loves us very much.

Energy, when used to complete something, is then available as a new source for your success, for you have gained the rewards of proper attunement on all levels. When you have this attunement, there is an irresistible energy that can affect others' subconscious. People may feel this energy and be attracted to you, drawn to your attunement, because you are in harmony with your environment. This gives you the ability to work with authority and to work as an authority. This is not a dictatorial authority, but an authority gained through knowledge, experience, and patience, an authority in terms of handling responsibility and fulfilling commitments. People who are successful in handling authority have demonstrated the ability to do what has to be done at the time and to take appropriate action.

No matter how we have strayed or wandered, and whoever has strayed and wandered, it is not really our concern except that we are our brother's and our sister's keeper. We are called upon to care, to extend ourselves, and to forget what we might think against someone for what they've done or said. Instead, we hold out whatever we have in love and support and then celebrate. So we dance, and we feast, for we have God amongst us, as we are those who are gathered in His name.

It is important to combine whatever technique of spiritual exercise you are doing with the positive power and protection of the Light. The energies that are present during spiritual exercises are subtle, but powerful. If you want success, it is essential that you ask for the power of the Light to work with you for the highest good during your meditation. Begin each meditation with a simple prayer, asking that the Light surround you, protect you, and fill you; that any negativity that is released be cleared and dispersed into the Light, and that all that takes place during this meditation be for the highest good. Asking this in the purity and sincerity of your own heart is your insurance that your meditation will be for your upliftment and spiritual growth.

The Light of your own consciousness will show you where you are not completing the truth of your Self within yourself. The truth within you is complete, though it is often veiled by illusion so that you do not know or perceive it clearly. The great quest of human nature is to seek the Truth that will encompass everything, the Truth within which everything will fall and within which everything can be accounted for, measured and handled. The belief is that when this is accomplished, peace, happiness and security will be found because there will be a place for everything. The quest itself is an illusion. The only way the quest can be accomplished is to know God. God is the only Truth that encompasses everything else.

The dream state, the night travel on the Spirit side, is a learning experience. It is a progression of your consciousness into the higher levels of Light. Your freedom lies in the Soul consciousness. When you reach Soul, you can go even higher into the center of the supreme God and become a co-worker with God. The progression that is open to you is endless and infinite. As you travel above the Soul realm, you come into total awareness - or God consciousness - and you experience the great Ocean of Love and Mercy. There are no words for these experiences. You have to experience them to have the understanding of them.

The negative power is not the focus. Here in this world everyone deals with negativity. We are anchored to the Spirit which is the whole presence of God in all things.

If you ever have the opportunity to help someone, do it. Those acts of loving kindness come back to you when you need them. Loving is contagious. What a great day it will be when there is an epidemic of loving!
