The very thing that will free you, the shaking loose of all illusion, is the very thing you run from. Yes, it may be "terrible". And yes, you may be miserable. But THANK GOD, because now you can see more clearly. Don't run away or paint the process bad or evil. If you do that, you may be painting yourself right out of the picture. Ultimately, you're going to have to come back to whatever area it is that frightens you and look. It doesn't cost one penny to look.

John-Roger, DSS
The Light translates very practically as doing good, doing greater good, finding what's uplifting and getting involved in that, and choosing away from the things that don't work for you. Just pay attention to what's working, what's serving, and move your choices so the results and outcomes in your life are constantly going towards greater good.

John Morton, DSS
When I talk about letting love lead, I'm referring to a very profound inner movement that comes from the depth of our being. Putting love in charge is not how we normally live; usually, we let our reactions and ego lead us. Though love is all around us, we seldom give it our full attention; there are so many other places where we focus our energy. It's amazing how easy it is to give up our loving nature. We're conditioned to deriving our worth from outside ourselves - from what other people think of us, from what we achieve materially, from what we look like. "I don't really know who I am," we may say to ourselves, "but if these people love me, I must be okay." That's another example of living life from the outside in. It's an empty promise, because if, in the next moment, people stop loving you, or don't look at you the way you want them to, you will no longer feel okay. When others withdraw their love, you find yourself withdrawing, too, and contracting. Contraction is a kind of pulling back - physically, emotionally, or mentally - that closes us down to life. The objective of letting love lead is to move you to a state of expansion, of opening to life and fully embracing it.

John-Roger, DSS
When you are attuned to Spirit and are experiencing the love of Spirit, the negativity of others does not matter. There is love and forgiveness for everything and everyone. So sacrifice your anger for your loving expression. Sacrifice your self-righteousness (which is "wrongeousness") for kindness and loving words. Sacrifice your point of view for the highest good. Then you are living the Christ Consciousness and living in grace.

John-Roger, DSS
You don't have to punish yourself for your mistakes. And, anyway, you don't know how to punish yourself. If we truly punished ourselves, we'd be cured of whatever it was. It would be over and done. But we punish, and then punish, and then punish, and then punish. And then we feel guilty, and then we feel guilty that we felt guilty, and then we feel guilty that we felt guilty that we felt guilty. Then we punish, and we punish, and the darn thing goes on and on, and we say, "Why don't I accomplish anything in my life?" If you make a mistake, get on with your life and don't waste time punishing yourself "from here to eternity."

John-Roger, DSS
When spiritual love is expressed between people, the greatest commandment that has been placed on the planet is being fulfilled. This commandment is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy mind and with all thy Soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself. God resides in everyone. So as you love the least one and the greatest one equally, you are fulfilling God's commandment to love Him.

John-Roger, DSS
If you are clear that you really want that, then you can support it right now. How? How about putting out that cigarette? No, don't make the next piece of chocolate cake the last indulgence on the way to health; make the last piece of chocolate cake the last. Do you get it? Start doing those things that support your goal right now. If you make your goal too far in the future or unreasonable (unrealistic), you may also put off doing those things that make your goal realizable and realized.

John-Roger, DSS
The Christ Consciousness has established in this world the opportunity that no one can be denied the Light. When we wake up, we can realize, "I was asleep" or "I had forgotten." If we seek the Light, if we choose the Light, we cannot be denied. God promises that the Light must be available to all who seek it. So no matter how dark we find our life or what we have created, we can always choose the Light. This translates to "you're free." Whatever has been imprisoning you or confining you in the darkness cannot hold you when you choose the Light.

John Morton, DSS
If you don't have the idea, the answer, the information that tells you what can be done when and where, relax. Do what has to be handled in the present. Do you have to go to the bathroom? Do it now. Do you have to answer the phone? Are you hungry? Does your body need some exercise? Is there some energy that is calling you to go within and meditate? Do it. Handle the simple needs right now. You can let the process work by itself, as you handle the practical needs. The process is your having the faith that "the Spirit in me is working and will supply me with what I need when I need it."

John-Roger, DSS
The only rest I know is in the Soul when the Spirit comes to a steady place, and I call that the rest point of eternity. And it's also the rest of eternity.
