The only thing you can take with you is the loving, detached state of Soul that gives you all things. It sounds like a paradox, but one day many of you are going to get up enough nerve not to possess things and to find out how delightfully happy you are, walking hand in hand with God, having all things. Somebody will ask, "If it's yours, why don't you take it?" You'll answer, "I don't have to take it because it's mine already. I don't have to do anything with it. You can use it, everybody can use it, because in the last analysis, it's made of Spirit, and that's where I'm living. It's not only mine; I'm it. It's me." It becomes very, very simple.

When two people are loving each other, there are really not two people, but one. It might look like two, but they become one in thought, one in feeling, one in direction, and one in philosophy. All their divergences become focused in attainment rather than in the law of cause and effect, catastrophes or penalties which result in poor relationships.

Don't judge your inner or outer process. Let it be whatever it is. Use each experience to awaken yourself to the greatest degree possible. Use each experience as an opportunity to work with the Light and to exercise the Christ Consciousness within.

You do not have to seek love. You are already love. In Soul, you do not seek outside yourself because who you are encompasses all there is. True spirituality transcends all separation. There is no lover because there is no "other" to be loved. There is only One. That oneness is the Beloved.

We work with what is present. Move into the aspect of the present - the transcendent present - getting beyond the obvious and the mundane to that which is the greater reality which exists in Spirit. What's on this side in the world? Often limiting beliefs, attitudes, positions, etc., that our parents and others gave to us. Baby elephants in the circus were tied to wooden stakes so they could not get away. As the elephants matured, they would still be tied to the stake even though they had outgrown it in strength and could easily have pulled up the stake if they tried. We are not bound by the past. We can learn from the past and move on to the greater.

Love is not only the conjugal relationship. Love is all things. It expresses on many levels and may certainly be expressed through the sexual relationship, which is one way the Soul makes love on the physical level. If the act is for procreation, then it is, indeed, spiritual love. If the act is one of "I'll see you sometime," then it names itself, and I don't have to. The Soul responds to love, rarely to anything else. It will not respond to the temporary "love" of a moment or two, but it will respond to an honest expression of love because that is the Soul's nature - loving and joyful.

You don't necessarily feel blissful when you are in the Soul. You are very centered and consciously aware of what is, but you aren't experiencing an emotion per se. You don't necessarily think of what's happening when you're in the Soul; you are clearly perceiving what is happening, but it isn't a thought. There aren't influences of the unconscious or subconscious playing upon you when you are centered in the Soul. You are simply functioning from a place of knowing direction. It can be a very calm, matter-of-fact, solid place to be.

Continuity is, "I'm keeping my eyes on you Lord, only you." Then everywhere you look you see the Lord. You've got to get that part and get it connected back in.

When you look at anything through the Light of God's Spirit, the positive form is the only thing that will hold steady; you can't hold the negative form. In the moment of letting go of old disturbances, you may even see how disturbances from your past served you and helped you grow. That's the positive form.
