Nothing exists, in actuality, before or after the moment it happens. If you have a fight with your loved one and he or she says something that hurts you, the hurt exists in that moment and is valid in that moment. If you let those words color everything else from that moment on, the incident has become a fixation and will beat you up like you can't believe. Let each moment go as it happens. That's the road to freedom.

I have heard it said that opportunity knocks only once. In my experience, opportunity knocks, and knocks, and knocks in infinite ways. So if you "blow it" and mishandle something, if you didn't accept or recognize an opportunity, don't bemoan your fate. Just learn from the experience and do better next time.

There are no things that come from God that are dirty or soiled or impure. It's only because we forget that we would relate to them as such. So that's part of the blessing too - that you're pure, you are whole, you are loved, because you are Divine.

Don't be shocked or condemn yourself for how unaware you've been for years. When the veil is parted and you see spiritually, you may see many of the imbalances you've created. As a result, you could enter into condemnation unless you keep the spiritual door open and continue to receive the flow of grace, the divine consciousness. When you can do that, you may clear all those past imbalances. This can be a clearing of past actions and debts under the law.

Children need to learn to laugh at themselves and not to live their lives according to other people's opinions. Teach them to play roles and have fun with it. Let them dress up in funny costumes and have a good laugh at themselves. Let them put on plays and act out their ideas. They will learn important skills and gain self-confidence.

If whatever you are doing right now is not fun, stop doing it. If there's a little bit of fun, consider going on. But if you say, "I hate for tomorrow to come, and that job," don't go to it, or create fun. You can create fun.

Peace is a choice you make. Peace is present and can be found right now. When the lights are turned on in a room, everyone knows that those lights are on. It will be the same when we arrive at peace; we will all know that peace is present.

You are responsible for the appropriate use of your spiritual energy. You have to awaken your sight in order to get direction. Then you have to choose to go in the direction of your limitless sight, rather than turn away to the direction of your limitations. You are the co-creator. If you do not do it, it may not get done.

Everybody is in this Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness. Everybody is awakening to themselves in the greater reality of who we are as a Soul, as a God aspect, living in this world.

Most human suffering arises in the gap between what we think should be and what is. It's here that we find our unresolved problems, worries, complaints, and judgments about the unfairness of life, as well as our fantasies about how we would like things to be. We can always come up with good reasons for our behavior: we need the money, our families expect it, we owe it to society, and so on. Our stories and reasons and excuses are always "perfect" - and so are everybody else's. When someone does something you don't like, you can be sure they have a perfect explanation for it, just as you do for your own behavior.
