Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
How do I love my conditions? How do I respond with my love? The fun becomes let me count the ways, and let me find a new and better way to love each condition.
There are lower levels of consciousness: physical, astral, causal, mental and etheric. These are all below the level of Soul. This might be what is called "worlds without end." You can travel in these levels and remain within your own consciousness, never traveling outside of your own inner domain. What is generally called dreaming takes place in these levels. On the Soul level and above, there is no dreaming defined as such. In those levels, you are involved in awareness.
Choose your intention carefully and then practice holding your consciousness to it, so that it becomes the guiding light in your life. Many times we put off things and promise ourselves that we will do them later. It is because we think that we will always have the luxury of time that we are so ready to put things off. But for the Spiritual Warrior, now is later: We live in awareness of our own deaths, and so, without hurrying, without rushing from one thing to another, we still endeavor never to waste a moment that might have been spent seeking God.
If the Mystical Traveler is working with you in Spirit, what you do on these lower levels will not stop that spiritual work. You can suit yourself. Remember, however, that what you do may stop or delay your realization of the work that is going on in Spirit. The choices are yours. The Mystical Traveler doesn't care what you decide, because as long as you agree to work together to release you into higher spiritual consciousness, then that's the work the Traveler does.
Moving inside to your own spiritual inner awareness is not always easy to do by yourself. But then, you didn't put yourself into this life all by yourself, either. You were put here as part of the body of God, an heir to the kingdom of Heaven. Usually when you are born into the physical body, you slip behind a veil of forgetfulness and forget your heritage. Then along comes One who has not forgotten, who sees directly into your inner consciousness, to the beauty you are in your Soul, and tells you what that is. And you will know that it is true. I'm not telling you anything you don't know; it's just that you may not remember it until you hear it stated. Then you have the inner experience that verifies it as truth and reality.
The person who is more aware has the inherent responsibility to teach the one who is not as aware. By "more aware," I mean more aware of the greater potential. The responsibility is inherent in the relationship. It's similar to seeing a little child start to run across the street into the path of a car; you'll yell at the child to stop. It is a teaching consciousness that makes you say, "Watch out for the car!" To teach doesn't mean you must sit and do the ABCs with the child. You just respond within the inherent relationship on a need-to basis.
Move from the information into the experience of God as directly as you can. Always strive to be in the place inside of you where you partake in the Spirit. You can take greater advantage of this communion with God.
Take a moment right now to look at what your intention is as a Spiritual Warrior. You may want to ask yourself these questions (other relevant questions will suggest themselves to you as well): Is there anything I have left undone or unsaid? What are my incompletions? How can I bring them to completion before I die?
Question: I get confused about "asking for what I want." If God already knows all my needs, then it seems I shouldn't ask for anything. But the Bible also says, "You receive not because you ask not." Can you help me understand this better? Answer: When you are entering into a more spiritual consciousness, you'll find that before you can ask, your needs are already taken care of. Your wants and your desires are usually your problem areas. Do you know the differences between these? I'll illustrate here with a story. A man walked into a store to buy something, and the clerk came up to him and said, "Sir, what do you desire?" He said, "To kiss Rita Hayworth." The clerk said, "Sir, I mean, what do you want?" He said, "A new Cadillac." The clerk said, "Well, what do you need?" He said, "Some galoshes." Most people's confusion comes in the area of their desires, not their needs. Giving can be one of the greatest ways to receiving. If you want more love, give love. If you want more joy, be joyful. Look for the good in all things and situations, and you may be surprised at what you see.
It is possible for you to lift out of your present level of consciousness into higher levels of consciousness.
