And so all we really can do is breathe in and breathe out and let the Divine essence move forward to us. It's called grace. Listen long enough for this breath of Divine guidance to breathe through you.

The earth has been called "the classroom of this universe." People are often brought together to learn from one another. Two people may come together with personalities that compliment each other so that one completes the other; they share their energies and abilities. They may function better together than separately. Great learning and understanding can take place in this type of relationship. This type of relationship can be called karmic in the sense that each person is better able to fulfill his or her karma through that relationship. Other people who are brought together to learn from one another may resist or misunderstand the process; they may see it as difficult or unpleasant. In this way, the word "karma" sometimes becomes associated with situations that seem bad. Karma is not bad; karma is action, learning, progression; often it is an opportunity for completion. It is your attitude toward karma that can make it seem either good or bad while you're going through it.

Always use love all ways.

Alignment with Spirit is an ongoing challenge. But remember, your intention sets your direction, and as long as you are moving in the direction of your intention, you are doing all you need to. There is no need to make excuses, no need for apologies, just do what you can do.

John-Roger, DSS
To do God's work is to be spiritually directed, which translates to being inner-directed. Those who are inner-directed by the Spirit will outwardly attempt to cooperate and come into the flow of the manifestation of Spirit. This attempt is often wrought with awkwardness, difficulty, arduousness, and the sandpapering of personalities.

John Morton, DSS
A way to avoid creating negativity in relationships is to follow a simple guideline: Don't hurt yourself and don't hurt others. The most effective guideline might be to do everything as an expression of unconditional loving. If you do that, you will not create imbalances that you will eventually need to resolve.

John-Roger, DSS
One of the great follies of following any particular spiritual path is the temptation to "play God." You do this by twisting the teachings to say, "I am spiritual, divine, the essence of God," but forgetting to ground those ideas into physical reality, which includes the body, imagination, emotions, mind and unconscious, with all their inherent illusions. You don't have to play what you are; what you are not, you cannot play. There is no need to misrepresent what is going on. You are not God in the sense of the Supreme God. You do carry within you an essence of God, an essence of the Christ consciousness. Outwardly, you are a reflection of the Soul that is in direct contact with God.

Listen well when other people share with you. Their information is valuable. You can use others' lessons and experiences to supplement you own. You may be going through experiences similar to theirs and be able to learn from them which path to take. Or maybe you can use the information they give you to help someone else. If nothing else, their information may point up areas to which you do not wish to enter. Let each person be your teacher. Be the best student you can, and learn all you can from every situation.

John-Roger, DSS
We must remember that personality is form, and is therefore limited. Our Soul, however, is formless. It is not limited to a single form, but can function through any form. Our great freedom as human beings is our ability to function through something instead of just functioning in it. Functioning through is freedom.

The Light of the Soul emanates from the center of your being as living love. The Soul is non-inflictive by nature. The Soul is joyful. The Soul is a divine river from the infinite Ocean of Love and Mercy.
