We cannot demand or assume that life will take care of us. That is taking a position. People who get stuck on a position are frozen. They are chained to their needs, their anxieties, and their desire for gratification. If you insist that someone is supposed to do something for you, you have chained yourself to that. Do you want those chains for your lifetime breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Spiritual Warriors do not fall into the trap of making their gratification and security depend on other people. The Spiritual Warrior goes for freedom.

All things come out of God -- and whatever comes out of God is good.

We all get things the way that we get them. And if it's through some pain and confusion and turmoil, then it's that way. It is the value received that is the important thing.

Correct action does not mean that things are going to drop into your lap. You have to work for them -- work to grow, work to expand, work for the next revelation. Many people won't move an inch unless they get paid for it. They are trapped. But the Spiritual Warrior says, "I'm doing this to grow, to expand. I'm taking on more responsibilities, not for more money, but for more growth, more ability, more knowledge." With that attitude you cannot be stopped. That is part of how you storm the gates of Heaven.

When you sing from the center of your beingness, you sing a celestial song.

To accomplish living in the NOW, you hold the emotions in an "up" consciousness, keep the mind focused on completion in the present moment, and keep the body healthy and able to hold the energy of Spirit. When you can do this, the consciousness expands to greater capabilities. Then comes the responsibility of holding your energies more in that greater field, and, of course, your reward is the ability to do more. Then your consciousness can expand to an even greater capability.

Inherent in serving is doing the best you can. That means making the choice, focusing on the task at hand, and using your mind, body, and Spirit -- for the joy of doing it. Notice I didn't say to do it for the money you will get at the end of the week or for any recognition or reward. If you work and serve with an attitude of enthusiastic cooperation, knowing that you are serving the Spirit within you by serving others through your work, you can receive incredible support for creating your abundance as a living reality.
