Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
You do not have to sit and "space out" with some special posture, legs crossed, legs uncrossed, arms in the air, arms at your sides, and so on. You do not have to go around saying, "Oh, I'm so happy, everybody!" None of these external things really matter. But when you attain contact with that Divine energy, you will be able to say, even in the midst of deep depression, "I'm so darn blissful the depression doesn't bother me anymore."
Patience is the password, love is the message, and receiving is the process.
Q: When Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle..." did he mean that material wealth automatically pulls you away from the spiritual? J-R: Being attached to the accumulation of material wealth might be a deterrent to discovering the more spiritual aspects of yourself. But material wealth can also be an outer reflection of the inner wealth and abundance that you are experiencing inside of yourself. There is nothing "wrong" with having material possessions. Sometimes they can assist you to live a more comfortable life so that you can more easily be of service to others. And many times sharing the abundance of our material possessions can be beneficial to others. It's all in how you handle it inside of yourself.
Judgments can be projected toward other people and things outside of yourself. If you pick up the newspapers and read about people or events that you then decide are bad, evil, wrong, etc., then you have judged and set yourself up to become the nature of your judgments. Some people might ask, "But what about all the terrible things that people do and that happen in the world? Am I supposed to pretend they are wonderful and that there are not any problems and troubles in the world?" No. Judging takes place when you unnecessarily and negatively interpret what you experience or perceive.
If you are supporting yourself and trusting that Spirit will bring forward exactly that which is for your highest good, then all decisions can be the right decision.
Taking care of yourself first might mean: get a job, pay your bills, take the dog for a walk, keep your house clean, or get enough sleep at night. When these basic need levels are taken care of you can then look around you to see if there are others who need help. If you are volunteering your time for this, that and the other thing but you don't have your rent paid for this month, you really haven't been taking care of yourself first, and it may cause tension or conflict inside of yourself. Many times, the "pressures" of the world are just pressures that you've put upon yourself and they can be relieved by taking a more realistic look at your life and how you are using your time and energies.
How do you teach and encourage? Words can help, but they aren't the primary teaching tool. Love is the greatest instructor.
If you are reading this and are distracted from the experience you get while reading this, you need practice. Practice the action of focus. Place your intellect, your emotions, your body -- your entire self -- here and now. When you are in the only place that Spirit exists, which is here and now, you are then available to your freedom. If you wait for the dispensation of Spirit, or your divorce, or when you move, or when your kids grow up and leave home, or when you lose weight, or when you get a raise, or whenever, you may have to wait until whenever, which may be four incarnations from now.
Loving is a blessing. There is always an opportunity to open up to greater loving. If you want to know what my work is about, the bottom line is that it is about loving. If you are invoking and evoking your loving nature, it will lead you into the highest consciousness. Loving is the opening. It is the portal. All pass in loving. All enter through loving.
Put the Light around the world. Ask to live each moment in the consciousness of the Light and to be the Light.
