Observing our beingness is the process that releases us and opens us and expands us to let the Spirit flow through us. Yes, it is a miracle, but if we try to partake of it through our egos, we block it. And so we have to maintain our openness. We have to say simply, "Lord, I receive, and I am grateful." It doesn't matter what religion you practice; we must all surrender to the highest source we can. All of us must ask for protection, for that is what surrender really is -- placing ourselves into the protecting hands of God.

When you seek out in the world for happiness or peace, you are moving into patterns of self-denial because you are, in actuality, saying that peace does not reside naturally within yourself. So you come from a consciousness of lack, and lack is the result. When you go into the outer world seeking peace, you are looking for sensation. Sensation, for a short time, can assuage the yearning for peace. It can distract you momentarily, but it's not long before the sensations of the world stupefy your physical senses, and you find yourself automatically retreating back toward yourself. You find yourself yearning for peace.

If you have the choice of the divine knowing or the divine unknowing, take the divine unknowing. As soon as you know, you have to take responsibility for all the actions. As soon as you don't know, you still are open to receive of the grace of that.

We are all entitled to the blessings which are available to all of us all the time if we have the eyes to see them. John-Roger has identified the blessings as loving, caring, sharing, health, wealth, happiness, abundance, prosperity, riches, and touching.

Simplify your life. You do not need all the clutter you are holding on to. Get rid of it now because it is stealing your energy. The clutter in your life takes energy to maintain. Start with the smallest things. Clear away a little and you'll be amazed at the vast amounts of energy it releases inside of you. Incomplete things also tie up energy. Look at all your unread books, and declare them complete. Guilt -- let go of it, right now. Keep around you only the things that give you energy.

One of the most important times for children is right before they go to sleep. Others are the mornings when they awaken and their mealtimes. If you just make the effort to express loving consideration during those periods, you will be doing much to support the growth of a loving human being.

You are responsible for yourself, your actions, and your individual progression. No one else can do it for you.

You must be the teacher of the level below you, a competent worker on the level you're on, and a student on the level above you; then you can move ahead in your spiritual consciousness.

Many sacred scriptures tell us that the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. It is not too smart to attach ourselves to the materiality of this world such that when the Lord gives or takes away, we are ill-prepared for either. It is our heritage to learn to freely receive and give. This is a great key to a life of ever-increasing abundance and riches. The source of the supply is unlimited, and the opportunities on the planet are more plentiful than ever.

You cannot do anything wrong as long as you are acting with love and awareness.
