When you move to the power source of your beingness in the inner kingdom, you find happiness and joy. It is a dynamic joy, an active expression of happiness. And within that happiness is peace. It may not be jovial or raucous happiness, but it is one where the warmth of your own consciousness is united with the knowingness of your Soul. And when those two aspects are one, happiness is the natural result.

There are many things in life you do not have to do. You do not have to seek love. You do not have to defend yourself. You do not have to be noticed. You do not have to go out and seek the madhouse world of success, fame, and fortune. You do not have to be what is called a "spiritual person." You do not have to anxiously hope for anything. You do not have to be considered nice by others.

Don't hurt yourself and don't hurt others. Take care of yourself so you can help take care of others. Use everything for your upliftment, learning, and growth. To some people these ground rules seem too simple, even simplistic. But think how your life would change if you lived them, really lived them! It may sound silly, but applying these rules to whatever you do really will guarantee a fulfilling life. Your Spirit will converge and you will live in higher awareness.

Contribute more than you take.

You can give yourself and your child leeway to go through the ups and downs of the learning process. You child is just beginning to grow and learn, and, believe it or not, you are not finished with your learning, either. You can learn on both the outer and inner levels throughout your life. Since you are the most experienced one, you are in charge for a short time -- in charge of directing, stimulating, encouraging, urging, disciplining, and, at all times, loving your child.

All the forces of Spirit are working with you for one intended purpose: that you totally awaken to that which already is -- the Light and Sound of God, which is within you at this very moment.

If you don't learn something every day, what are you doing, anyway?

Spiritual progression is not to be found outside, in the physical world. Spiritual progression is found inside you. Once your intention toward higher awareness is clear, you will begin to move up, instead of moving horizontally. You will see that your existence is not confined to this world. You will begin to live your everyday life in greater awareness of the now. The mistakes, the decisions, and the fantasies of yesterday will belong to yesterday, not today or tomorrow.

You learn how to manage on all the levels, from Soul on down, moment by moment, decision by decision, knowing that there are consequences coming that will challenge you and that can be handled, experienced, and corrected when need be.

Do whatever it takes to bring yourself to right now because you cannot transcend the physical from yesterday, and you can't do it from tomorrow.
