Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Critical thinking is the process of examining the possibilities, looking at potential outcomes. It becomes negative only if I project my emotion on it. But if I can employ my intellect, just observing, looking, sorting, I can turn the possibilities into usable commodities. How does it work? Here is a little metaphor. You go into a dark room, looking for something. You're not sure where exactly it is in the room. Rather than groping around in the dark for it, the critical thinker looks first for the light switch. When the room is flooded with light it is an easy matter to find what you are looking for.
When you meet God, then you realize that the nature of God is not confinement, is not limitation, is not conditioned reality. The nature of God is open, loving, and joyful and the qualities that we would identify in the recesses of our heart and in the openness of our being.
Light, the divine energy from Spirit, is within each and every one of us. Whether that energy is used for the highest good often depends on our attitude. By choosing to choose, by focusing your mind, body, and heart, by doing what it takes to do the best you can, and by making a safe place for others to participate with you as they do the best they can, you can readily access the Light.
Remember that God's time, not your time, is always perfect.
You can't go out there with animosity, anger, and greed and expect the world to give you something else. It won't do that. The Spirit will give you that which is your intention, and the amazing thing is you can't put your intention out here in the world. It's for you and your own inner universe to live in. And if you're not creating a healthy universe, it will eventually get out here and you'll have your catastrophe and disaster. What are those? Whatever people declare them.
It is not for us to learn to control this world. This is best left to God.
People question life but that is not the correct approach. The Spiritual Warriors watch how life questions them. And underneath it all the answer will always be, "Have I loved to my capacity today?" That is the answer to questions for every millennium. "How can I love more this day? How can I give more than I take?"
There are many people who live the "good life," have successful businesses, great wealth, and all the security this world has to offer - and what they would like more than all of that is peace of mind. They say, "I'd give anything if my mind would leave me alone so I could gather my strength and feel good inside myself." That peace is your natural state, but if you look out into the world for sensation, you can obscure that peaceful quality within.
I've been under the impression (and I have my experience for it) that the Lord has always been available. And I also have to admit that I wasn't always available to the Lord's availability. When I finally came to that conclusion, it was then a matter of my moving back to the position of being with the Lord. I then realized that the Lord never moved because the Lord didn't really know how to move. He only knew how to be with me all the time. It was a remarkable thing to find out that he knew that more than he knew anything else. Then when I found that the Lord knew it with others, well, it got to be really tremendous inside of me. In fact, my ego trip left real fast. I said, "This Lord knows how to be with everybody all the time, so I don't suppose there are any restrictions, though I had placed restrictions." And whenever I turn to that, there it is. There it is. There it is.
One day we all will realize that this world was made for us to visit and learn the glory of God in Spirit.
