To discern the Traveler in your dreams, there is usually a special loving feeling that is present. Also, the Traveler will usually give you information in an uplifting way. The Traveler will not tell you anything inwardly or in a dream that he wouldn't tell you on the physical level.

The willingness to do creates the ability to do.

Watch that you don't abuse the power of love by placing yourself higher than those around you. In the eyes of love, we are truly who we are regardless of any image we place before us or any words we speak.

At each moment, you are making the best decisions you can, based on what you know. If you look back and see that you could have made a decision that brought more joy, don't judge yourself. Instead, remember that you did the best you could at the time, and apply your hindsight to future decisions.

Fear is not coming from the love of God. Fear is a test brought to you by the negative power. Ask yourself how you can pass the test. Listen to your inner guidance that comes from your trust in God along with trust in yourself to overcome and triumph.

Take yourself to a quiet spot. If it can be physically quiet, that would be beautiful. Often a good, quiet spot is in front of a picture on a wall that can help you enhance your attunement. And when you do this, you can say, "Peace, be still," and it will happen to you. The emotions will subside, the mind will quiet, and you can simply add, "Lord, I receive."

We exercise discrimination, selectivity of what we want to be involved in and what we're going to get out of it and the length of time involved. Often people say, "I couldn't handle it -- I got out of it." Well, getting out may have been the only way they could have handled it. That's handling it. People say that's a cop-out, but we've got to watch out so that we don't define ourselves into a poor attitude.

Ultimately it is always our self-importance that throws us out of alignment with our spiritual intention. Self-importance is our greatest limitation. If you are asked to empty bedpans, and your self-importance tells you that you are destined for something far more glamorous than that, you are limiting your opportunities for spiritual expression. The good news is that even if you let your self-importance throw you out of alignment, you cannot be thrown out forever. You will come back into harmony and even grow from the experience of having been out.

What does "essence" mean? And how can it be inside of you? Even when you consume something (a chocolate cake, a car, or even a relationship) you have only consumed the form. It is like the shell of a nut without the kernel, and that is why forms can never, ever satisfy. What you are really searching for is the kernel, the essence, the interior sense of fullness and satisfaction. But as long as you are looking "out there" you won't find that essence. It is "in here," already inside of you. And it is by manifesting your Spirit that you gain access to that hidden essence. Only by manifestation do you bring it out and put it to work in your life.
