Am I neutral about things? No, I've hardly ever been neutral about anything. That's why I have a reverse gear inside of me. If I get in something I don't like, I back out and start another way. It's being flexible with your energy and your spirit and your commitments to what you're doing. If you're committed to something and you hit a wall, you don't keep going. You stop and back up.

When somebody calls you a name in an area where you're neutral, you can just stand and listen to them. When they get through, you go, "Is that it? Yeah, okay." You're neutral. Do you know what's nice about neutral? What they say doesn't get to you. You just sit there and "idle."

Ask yourself if the situation will be important enough to matter in five years - or ten. You may check to see if your reaction is from your ego and if your ego is important enough to risk hurting yourself or another. You can look at the situation impersonally, as if it were happening to someone else. Or take yourself out of it and pretend you are seeing from the top of a mountain.

There are very few things within our world that are inherently "good" or "bad" except as we label them. So if you are to stay free and clear, it is important to place out as few judgments as possible and to maintain as neutral an attitude as possible.

When you separate yourself and place yourself against another consciousness, you have separated yourself from and denied the God within that person. And since that is the same God as is within you, you are separating yourself from your own God; you are denying God. The result will be pain. There's no way around it.

Understanding starts with letting go. It starts with releasing yourself from, "I want it this way. I don't want it that way." Choose to come into neutrality by letting go. The understanding will follow.

Karma in itself just means action or movement. When you say "karma" you really would have to add "good" or "bad" because the dharma of life is just that thing which you are going through. It's neutral; it is neither good nor bad by its nature. I think that many people who have read the ten cent type of novel or spiritual-psychic things have equated karma with bad. It's not; it just means action.

If you don't like what someone says, just go to another level of consciousness until that person is finished. For example, if that person is coming from a highly emotional place, you can go higher within you and just listen, observe, and not defend your position. If you wish to give information in response, do it from a neutral place of presenting just the facts as you see them.

A Spiritual Warrior does not take an outer stance or position. They are as flexible as the wind and as steady as the North Star. They maintain their loving approach to all things by always acting upon inner strength and purpose.

It is important to watch the attitude and keep it as neutral as possible.
