John-Roger starts this way, “Karma is the inability to move. It’s the inability to resolve things.” In other words, it’s those actions we put off until tomorrow…and then, tomorrow, until we have built up a stuck place of karma.”
J-R continues, “When we are involved in relationships, we often try to place the karmic flow out there with somebody. But in truth, man only has karma with himself. He only has action with himself and reaction with himself. And the other person is standing as a reflector. If they’re reflecting to you, you cannot place your lack or your inertia upon them. As a viable human being you have to say, ‘they’re just reflecting to me the state of where I am.’ ”
This is a valuable seminar as J-R ranges through the human condition and finds something for everyone to learn. Teaching with examples, stories, and always humor, J-R makes clear what inertia can do to us and what we can do about it.
