This is an ebullient Christmas Eve seminar in which John-Roger points to who we are within ourselves, and encourages us to lift our daily lives to that place. As always, he fills his teachings with stories and examples to assist us in searching out those areas of our own lives that could use a lift.
J-R starts with gratitude, “It’s so nice that we have the ability in this country to come together like this where there’s no one to control our thoughts or our emotions. That’s worth celebrating about.”
“Celebration means something that brings harmony and balance,” J-R continues. It means having freedom inside to look at our thoughts and our feelings, no matter what they are. We should be able to celebrate our greatest and our lowest feelings equally, because they mean we’re alive.”
Then J-R offers this message of hope and challenge. “This age is increasing its Light on the planet in everyone. There are those who can’t hold the increased Light awareness because they have not gone in and met the Greater One inside.” Then J-R gives a vivid picture of what happens when we have the intention to direct ourselves to the inner. “Inside of you, something develops,” he says, “like an iron rod. And you’ll know that the inner human has been transformed because integrity speaks inside of you. Not rigidity. Not stubbornness. Integrity, wherein you do not run a false standard or a false belief, but upon your very life and your experience and your wisdom, the strength grows inside. And then that One who is in you, becomes you. And, miracle of miracles, you become the Beloved that you’ve been looking for. The very one you’ve been searching for was hiding as you, inside.”
