John-Roger’s seminar is one of assurance and expansion. He says, “There is nowhere that you can ever go that you can be out of the consciousness of God. But you can be out of contact of your awareness of that consciousness of God, because Spirit allows you the ego awareness of separation. In fact, most of you have found it much easier to separate yourself than you have found it easy to be at one with yourself. The proof of that is how much you feel alone, separated and alienated from people as well as feeling depressed, rejected, anxious and fearful”.
J-R continues, “And so we need to deal with the spiritual quality inside. Your beingness supplies the source of life. It does not supply your car or any other material thing. But it supplies everything you need.” And therein lies the teaching contained in this seminar. “Once you start sourcing yourself, the Spirit is now teaching you of Itself. And we then come into what we call the Spiritual Life. It’s defined as this: the Spirit is coming present through you. That is the Spiritual Life.”
How do we source ourself then? “Now the process we build with the spiritual energy inside of us,” he says, “is to find a method, a means, a mechanism and get our intention clear.” Throughout the seminar, J-R spells out the methods we can use to clear our intention and live the Spiritual Life. “And when you make that inner contact with the source of you,” he says, “there’s joy and there’s abundance.”
