Here is another of the MSIA foundational seminars, given by John-Roger in 1971. In it he spells out the trajectory we can step into which will guide us within to knowledge of Who we truly are: spiritual masters.
J-R begins with a discussion of truth. "One of the things we as mankind cherish is the truth," he states. "And there are two truths: the outer, objective truth which is in a constant state of change, and the inner, subjective truth which is in a state of movement rather than change." J-R says people have asked him the question many times, "What is truth?" His response is this: truth is anything that leads you to God. J-R observes that when we are living our truth, we find security there. From that place, we can't be shaken or thrown down because truth doesn't need to be defended. "Truth just stands in itself," J-R says.
Part of this rich seminar helps us identify those times when we are not being true to ourselves, when we have a temptation to let it slide "just this once." The discipline that living the truth requires is addressed as well as how it leads to the desire to be of service. From that place, we are well secured on the path to mastership. John-Roger assures us, "The way on the master's path has been opened for you. You just have to walk it."
