John-Roger begins by making the following statement, “Quoting from a Bible often becomes a waste of time unless that quote is used to point to the truth. The truth is not found in the Bible. You might as well think you can find water in that almanac that used to hang on Grandpa’s wall. It just told you when it had rained, but it didn’t tell you how much it was going to rain today. If you wanted to know, you had to go outside and measure it for yourself. And there’s the criterion that we use in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness: you measure for yourself.”
This is one of J-R’s ground floor messages. It’s up to each of us to determine our relationship with the truth at any given moment in life; that is, to find and validate our own truth, not someone else’s. Within the seminar, J-R gives us the method for finding our own integrity and for living our lives from it.
