This John-Roger seminar is for each of us who believes the negativity other people throw at us. Itâs for we who say to ourselves something like, âIf they only knew me, theyâd know Iâm a phony.â Itâs even for the folks who let you know theyâre the expert and youâre not. J-R says this, âThereâs a real fine line here between a faith extension and a phony front based on ego.â A faith extension is like an affirmation, a claiming of some condition before I actually have it. A phony front based on egoâŠwell, youâve seen that before.
J-R spells out the many forms both conditions take so we can recognize them and learn to handle them. Hereâs his suggestion. âStart to stand on the success of your learning and growing. Once you stand on that, you donât have to tell somebody youâre good or youâre bad, or youâre mean or youâre strong. As they come with you or against you or for you, theyâll find out the value you have to give, because all of us have value to give.â
