Practicing the Divine Presence
John-Roger begins this short, gentle meditation: “Just now, let’s bring ourselves into the Practicing of the Presence of God. It’s a very simple method that goes like this: as you breathe in through your mouth, let your love breathe out through your heart. Take in a breath and as you exhale, let your heart center open and let it fill you immediately and those around you.”
In this beautiful meditation, John Roger teaches us how to lift above the cares of our daily lives and how to transmute all our experience into loving by practicing the presence of the divine. As we open to that divine presence, we find that we have the opportunity to rest, to become calm, and to heal ourselves of our worldly troubles.
