On November 23, 2013, Prince Iwuoha offered a Finding Peace in Today’s World workshop in the Omoku MSIA Centre in Rivers State, Nigeria.

It was a beautiful morning of peace, and our young peacemakers in Omoku were quite involved in the class!

The Finding Peace in Today’s World workshop is a 3-hour class co-sponsored by the Institute for Individual and World Peace (IIWP) and the Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy (PTS), where peacemakers learn simple tools to experience peace in their daily lives.

The IIWP class held in Omoku Onelga, Rivers State on Saturday 23rd Nov. 2013 was a success. The event that started by 11am ended by 2pm and was well attended by MSIA kids as they took the lead role.

The full participation of these kids gave me lots of inner joy and a new hope for the future of MSIA in this part of the world. The loving, glowing radiance from their eyes was very conspicuous and indeed added more impetus to the peace class.

All along the class they were very very attentive and eager to learn the Travelers Peace Concept in line with the basic fundamental principles of peace of IIWP: “Peace is Present”, “Peace is a Choice, Available Regardless of Any Conditions”, “Peace is an Inner Process”, and “Peace is the Cessation of Againstness”.

The peace class in Omoku was a great opportunity to plant a peace seed in our hearts and the environs of Omoku as well as the entire country and it was good.
