Awakening As The Christ Workshop | July 3 & 4

I awoke Thursday morning a bit tired and rushed. All the while, I was motivated by the fact that I would soon arrive at the beautiful Four Seasons at Westlake Village for the Conference of the Christ. Excited to reconnect with our spiritual family, my husband and I packed our bags and hit the road.

I awoke Friday morning fresh and ready to seize the day, chomping at the bit for our conference workshop to begin.

I awoke Saturday morning as the Christ.

This year, joined by many in the room and online, we were blessed with the workshop ā€œAwakening as the Christ.ā€ Our journey began with Paul Kaye giving us an overview of the dressing habits of super heros- how these ā€ordinaryā€ and ā€œhumanā€ men are just that- until they put on their masks and capes. The exception is Superman. He must ā€œdress downā€ into his Clark Kent persona to blend in with the world and those around him. Similar to this iconic character, we each awake daily as the Beloved, the Christ. And then, we subtly (or not so subtly!) slip into our worldly personas and conform to the demands, judgements, and illusions of this physical realm.

Filled with humor, practicality, and processes, ā€œAwakening as the Christā€ did not disappoint! We laughed, loved, sniffled, and celebrated. We took care of ourselves and each other. We faced our dark sides, invited them in, embraced them, and made them our allies. We anchored the loving to better assist us in maintaining our awareness of the Christ within ourselves and each other.

Iā€™ve returned home now and, as I write this, am about to turn in for the night. My heart bursts with gratitude for JR, John, the Presidency, PTS, and all of the staff that created, facilitated, and managed this workshop. I hold a divine picture in my mind that reminds me that I am the Christ. This sacred picture is the beauty and the Christ that was mirrored back to me over the past few days from each of you. I just spent 48 hours staring into the eyes of the Christ, holding hands with the Christ, embracing the Christ. When I wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, I am grateful for the awareness that I will be staring into the eyes of the Christ once again.
