Notice Of Nondiscriminatory Policy As To Students

Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or any other school-administered programs.

 

PTS Event Cancellation Policy

Always check the PTS event registration description to confirm the cancellation policy. Some PTS events or courses have a modified cancellation policy, including, but not limited to:

Passage Into Spirit: Resurrection In The Christ – Asilomar

Living In Grace

Master & Doctor of Spiritual Science Classes – Worldwide

 

Cancellations for all PTS Events are as follows, with the exception of the events listed below*:

 

If you wish to cancel your event attendance, the entire tuition becomes non-refundable and non-transferable two weeks prior to this event. To notify of a cancellation contact PTS either by phone: 323-328-1958 or by email to registrar@pts.org. Refund requests are to be submitted in writing or by email to registrar@pts.org. Refunds are processed within 60 days of the event dates. Please note we do not accept cancellations or refunds for event tuition directly through EventBrite.

 

*IHOP Classes – Prana

All classes are to be paid for, whether attended or not; therefore, no refunds, rollovers, transfers, etc. for a missed weekend. If, however, a student cancels/drops from the program, any unused tuition will be refunded.

 

*Passage Into Spirit: Resurrection In The Christ – Asilomar

For cancellations 6 months prior; $200 is non-refundable but transferable.

For cancellations 3 month prior; $300 is non-refundable but transferable .

For cancellations 2 weeks prior; the full tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

No Shows (cancellations without notifying the PTS office before the day of event) are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Refunds are processed within 60 days of the event dates.

 

*Passage Into Spirit: Resurrection In The Christ – Live Online

For cancellations 6 months prior; $200 is non-refundable but transferable.

For cancellations 3 month prior; $300 is non-refundable but transferable .

For cancellations 2 weeks prior; the full tuition is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

No Shows (cancellations without notifying the PTS office before the day of event) are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

*Living In Grace – Asilomar

For cancellations 6 months prior; $200 is non-refundable but transferable.

For cancellations 3 month prior; $300 is non-refundable but transferable .

*Living In Grace – Worldwide

*Master & Doctor of Spiritual Science Classes – Worldwide

All application fees and $100 deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless PTS cancels the class. All classes are to be paid for, whether attended or not; therefore, no refunds, rollovers, transfers, etc. for a missed weekend. If, however, a student cancels/drops from the program, any unused tuition will be refunded.

 

*Mystical Traveler Workshop – Kalamazoo

A full refund is available for cancellations (with the exception of the $100 deposit) through June 6th. After June 6th the entire tuition becomes nonrefundable but it is transferable to another person scheduled to attend this event. No Shows (cancellations without notifying the PTS office before the day of event) are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

 

*Peace Awareness Trainings – Lake Arrowhead & Prana West Only

A cancellation fee of $150 per PAT training becomes non-refundable and non-transferable two weeks prior to the training date. If you cancel the day of the training the entire tuition becomes non-refundable and non-transferable. This cancellation fee also applies to “no shows” and “drop outs”. Refunds are processed within 60 days of the event dates.

 

*Peace Awareness Trainings – Worldwide

All tuition is 100% refundable until event is confirmed, once the event is confirmed, $100 becomes non-refundable. Cancellation schedule to be announced once venue is secured. Refunds are processed within 60 days of the event dates.

 

*Silent Retreat – Lake Arrowhead

A cancellation fee of $100 becomes non-refundable but transferable two weeks prior to the training date. If you cancel the day of the training the entire tuition becomes non-refundable and non-transferable. This cancellation fee also applies to “no shows” and “drop outs”.

PTS Event Prerequisite Policy

All PTS classes are open to everyone, with the following exceptions:

Subscriber Events
Students are required to have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Discourses, or upon completion of all 12 years of Soul Awareness Discourses, have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings.

Initiate Events
Students are required to be an active initiate in MSIA and have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Discourses, or upon completion of all 12 years of the Soul Awareness Discourse Program, have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings.

Minister Events
Students are required to be an active ordained MSIA Minister in good standing and have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Discourses, or upon completion of all 12 years of the Soul Awareness Discourses, have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings.

Master of Spiritual Science Class – Year 1
Students are required to have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Discourses, and have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings.

Master of Spiritual Science Class – Year 2 & 3
MSS Year 2 & 3 students are required to have successfully completed all preceding years of the Master Class, have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Discourses, and have an active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings.

Doctor of Spiritual Science Class – Year 1
DSS Year 1 students are required to be an active initiate in MSIA, be an active ordained MSIA Minister in good standing, have an active subscription to MSIA Soul Awareness discourses and Soul Awareness Teachings, be a regular tither to MSIA throughout the DSS Program, up to and including Graduation, and receive official acceptance by PTS administration.

Doctor of Spiritual Science Class – Years 2, 3, 4 & 5
DSS Year 2, 3, 4 & 5 students are required to have successfully completed all preceding years of the Doctorate Class, be an active initiate in MSIA, be an active ordained MSIA Minister in good standing, have an active subscription to MSIA Soul Awareness discourses and Soul Awareness Teachings, be a regular tither to MSIA throughout the DSS Program, up to and including Graduation, and receive official acceptance by PTS administration.

 

PTS Privacy Policy

Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy, Inc. (“PTS”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. PTS strives to respect and protect the privacy of individuals that visit our web sites. This notice constitutes our Privacy Policy.

No PTS services are directed to children under 13. Federal law requires that PTS may not collect any personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, you may not register an account with PTS or provide any of your personal information to PTS.

 

This PTS Privacy Policy applies to the all of the information found on msia.org.

 

  1. What Information PTS Collects and For What PurposesTo most effectively offer our services, PTS may collect information from you in the following ways:

Registration Information You Provide.
If you wish to register an account with the PTS website, PTS requests you to provide your identifying information (name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address, and a user name and password you designate). You are not required to provide this information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features.

Online Store Transactions.
If you wish to purchase anything from the online store, PTS requires that you provide, in addition to your identifying information, payment information, including financial account information.

Server Log Information.
PTS’s servers automatically log certain basic technical information when a user accesses the website, which may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser’s request to the PTS server, the date and time of the request, the language and type of browser being used, the referring web page, your computer’s operating system, and any PTS cookies associated with your browser.

Communications from you to PTS.
If you send correspondence or email to PTS or otherwise communicate with us, we may retain copies of the communications to assist you or for our records.

Cookies.
When you browse to www.ptswisdom.org, our system sends a small file called a “cookie” to your computer that identifies your browser. This allows PTS to recognize you for purposes of saving your preferences or providing personalized service. We use cookies to record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends. Since we use cookies to make your web site visit more user friendly, be aware that refusing cookies may not allow you to take full advantage of some our web site features.

Your Preferences.
To make your experience easier and more enjoyable, PTS keeps track of your account preferences.

 

The only purposes for which PTS processes personal information are those stated in this Privacy Policy, including the above, and the following purposes:

  • To assist the technical support of our system
  • To maintain and improve the quality of our services through auditing, research and analysis
  • To develop new services or enhance existing services, such as the online store and a user’s online shopping experience.
  • To communicate with you or respond to a request. If you supply us with your postal address or e-mail address via our web site you may receive periodic mailings from us with information of interest about PTS, such as upcoming events or a new book. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending us e-mail to webmaster@pts.org. Please provide us with your exact name and address when you make the request so we can be sure your name is removed from our mailing list
  • To better understand, market to and serve our membership.
  • To protect the rights of property or safety of PTS or its members

 

  1. Information You Reveal to the PTS Community is PublicPTS cannot protect the privacy of any information you communicate to other PTS users or information or comments that you post on an PTS website or forum.

 

III. Where Information is Processed
PTS processes personal information on its servers located in the United States of America.

  1. Sharing of Information

    PTS will only share your personal information with third parties, if at all, in these limited circumstances:
  • You give consent.
  • The information is shared on a need-to-know basis with a person or company engaged to perform, or contribute to, PTS’s services, provided such person or company complies with this Privacy Policy and other appropriate confidentiality measures.

 

PTS believes in good faith that use or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
(1) detect or prevent fraud or security issues

(2) comply with any law, regulation, legal process or government order

(3) protect the rights of property or safety of PTS or its members

(4) to enforce PTS’s website policies or investigate potential violations thereof.

 

  1. Use of Non-Personal Information
    PTS may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated demographic data that will not identify you or any member personally, such as the number of users who viewed a particular page in a given time-period, or geographic statistics about our members.

2. Information Security
Any of your personal information that is stored is kept securely on MSIA / PTS’s servers. We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site, which encrypts information you input, except for domain name data.

 

VII. Leaving MSIA.org
By clicking on any outbound links or advertisements on www.ptswisdom.org, you are leaving the PTS website, and any transfers of information between your computer and the non-MSIA website or service you navigate to are not subject to this Privacy Policy.

If you use an outside service to make a payment, such as PayPal, the financial information you provide to that service is governed by that service’s Privacy Policy, not PTS’s.

 

VIII. Mergers or Acquisitions
If PTS becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or other sale of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in the transactions and notify you before the information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

  1. Accessing or Updating Your Information
    If you have registered with MSIA.org, you may login to your MSIA / PTS account to manage or correct your information.

You may not register with MSIA.org if you are under 13 years of age. Federal law prohibits the collection of personal information from persons under 13 years of age.

  • California Residents
    Upon letter or email request by any California resident with whom PTS has an established business relationship, PTS will disclose to you each instance, if any, in the immediately preceding calendar year in which PTS disclosed your personal information to a third party that PTS knows or has reason to know used your personal information for direct marketing purposes. See California Civil Code § 1798.83.
