Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.

I don't forget to do my spiritual exercises. I don't forget to do these things that are required of me spiritually. They're the continuity of the spiritual life.

John-Roger, DSS
If one sister or brother is teasing another, teach the other child that he or she does not have to allow that. They can walk away from the situation and go somewhere else.

John-Roger, DSS
Those people who are going to break free of their karma this time, those people who are going to release themselves from their karmic debts and from the lower realms of negativity, must indeed demonstrate that they are ready to handle their responsibilities, their duty, their dharma. It is a twenty-four-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week job. There are no vacations either, but the rewards are certainly worth it. The job requires total commitment to honesty, truth, duty, and love, a continual demonstration of those qualities, and eternal vigilance so that you don't miss anything.

John-Roger, DSS
Q: Is there anything I need to know to further my Soul transcendence and spiritual evolution? J-R: Spiritual exercises. If I knew of any other way, I wouldn't talk about spiritual exercises. If I knew it was chocolate candy bars, that's what we'd have here.

John-Roger, DSS
The work that goes on in this physical world can pull attention away from the Spirit. Asking questions of the Spirit like, "Should I get another job, move to another city, and seek other friends?" doesn't ultimately tend to lift you into a higher consciousness. Spirit's work with you is much easier when you handle the "ten percent " level of this world as effectively as you can from your present level of knowledge and ability.

Joy is abundant when the heart is being shared freely.

John Morton, DSS
At the end of every prayer, I add the phrase, "for the highest good of all concerned." Sometimes I shorten it to "for the highest good." In saying those words, I am acknowledging that I don't know what is best but that a higher intelligence does. I've even heard people say "this or better, for the highest good," to acknowledge that God may have far greater plans for us (or for others) than we, with our limited, human minds, can imagine.

John-Roger, DSS
I think experiencing peace within requires a multi-level approach. By paying attention to the thoughts you hold, the feelings you invest in, your responses to the people and situations in your life, and your spiritual well-being, you can start building greater peace in and around you.

John-Roger, DSS
It would be useless for me to try to control the blood flowing through someone's body as to try to control the sun. I may tell it to stop, but it will keep right on going. You might think that's a little extreme, too. But in the same way, I can't control anyone's mind or emotions or opinions. I can't make people do anything by saying that people shouldn't do something that way or that they should do it this way. If they don't see it my way, they are certainly not going to do it my way. They are going to do it their way, and they have that right and that freedom.
