Our karma will keep us in place, having great potential, God potential, and yet it can also keep us in a lesser form according to what we need to learn. Personal responsibility includes whatever has accrued negatively. We've often accrued our learnings in unnecessary ways by not making the best choices that were available. Sometimes we think, "I already got the lesson." Perhaps our past choices reveal a repeated disregarding of what we knew was best so that worse and worse choices are the result. We go through experiences until we learn so completely that we stop making the choices that don't work. That's the angel at the gate to hell. We have the knowing that comes from the experience so deep that we don't repeat the unnecessary and poor choices. We demonstrate our learning experience by not repeating past mistakes. We then progress into results that reflect more of our good nature, the presence of God within us.

John Morton, DSS
You have to forgive yourself first. If you say, "I fall short of my own standard," you might want to revise your standard to be one of harmony and balance instead of self-criticism. Anyway, the Soul, the part of you that's the Spirit part, doesn't care about what goes on because what happens is just experience, and the Soul sees it in all of its perfection.

John-Roger, DSS
Love is the essence, the core, the harmony within us, the prime mover of our lives. But loving is love in action. Love comes alive when it is shared with others. The more it is shared, the more dynamic it becomes.

You can have feeling good and happy and joyful, and those are all on the levels of the mind and the emotion. Bliss is of the Soul. Then when that starts taking place inside of you, then you'll know who to take your initiation from. And that is one of the big criteria to test. And when you start finding out that you're loving more inside, and things before that would drive you up the wall, you're just now looking at the wall, thinking about it, then you'll know what the value of initiation can be to you. Initiation is awakening you to the spiritual levels that you already live on.

If it's done in love, it will work.

John-Roger, DSS
Access to the Soul is continually available. How much you avail yourself of it is up to you. In Soul, you step free from the past. There is nothing you have done that you cannot transcend because you are greater than any of your actions.

John-Roger, DSS
All the haranguing you do to your mate is really your attempt to make them release the pure love you first saw in them and thought you couldn't live without.

John-Roger, DSS
In this world, exercising perspective is an aspect of our higher nature. That's what we're dealing with as initiates: coming into our highest nature, our God nature, our Soul nature. And we ask for the Light to assist us with this. Why would we ask for help with this if it's already laid out and prepared? We initiated it, so we are on track, we're moving, we're going. What's the help about? I look at it as partnering, our becoming God's partner more fully.

John Morton, DSS
Every Soul, in its own timing, will awaken to the greater Spirit and return to its home.

John-Roger, DSS
Talk yourself into being in Soul. Fantasize about being who you are. Once you are in that fantasy, it becomes authentic. I know that in my Soul I am free. If you don't know how to do that, pretend you do.
