Search the Loving Each Day Quotes

Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.

When I refer to "the Light," I mean the very highest and purest Light that exists. This Light is a spiritual force, an emanation of God that can be used as a practical tool for day-to-day living. The Light is present everywhere and in everyone. It is always available to you. But in order to gain assistance from the Light, you have to ask for it. Since this Light is everywhere at all times, when you "ask" for it, what you are really doing is asking yourself to be present with the Light. You are bringing your awareness to the Light. In that respect, working with the Light is similar to breathing practice. You are always breathing, but consciously bringing your awareness to your breath can be transformational. So it is with the Light.

John-Roger, DSS
In your moments of peacefulness, don't think that you won't feel out of sorts ever again. You can say to yourself, "I feel good now." Are you going to feel good tomorrow? Let's see what happens when tomorrow shows up. Keep working on right now so that now keeps feeling good.

John-Roger, DSS
If you give up your awareness of now, if you act without having a match in your thoughts, emotions, and your physical actions, you can throw yourself into great disturbance. If you tell off another person when you could have been quiet and held a Light consciousness for them, you bring disturbance to yourself. When you do not maintain your awareness of and your responsibility to the now, the present moment, you separate yourself from your reality. And in that separation, you can create your own hell. Then you know your Soul only by the reflection of those who know the Soul, rather than through your own direct experience of the Soul.

Raising a child can bring everything from fulfillment to boredom, from being a loving support to being a maid, from rapture to the ridiculous. That's all part of the deal.

John-Roger, DSS
When you confront your challenges in life, rise to the highest point within you, which is love. There you will find the key to the Kingdom. But there is a catch. The love must encompass all things. You must love your depression, love your despair, love your anger, love your confusion, and love your upset. If you bring irritation to people, love the irritation and the people. Sometimes you are a master of irritation. Wouldn't you rather be a master of love?

A big key for people who want to maintain a Soul level consciousness is to stay in an attitude of gratitude, to choose to be thankful and appreciative of everything. Often, though, we get preoccupied and distracted because some little thing really bothers us, something like the paint is chipped on the car, and that will be the thing that will keep us out of the Divine revelation. You might say, "Chipped paint? How could that keep me from knowing the face of God?" It can do it if you let it draw your consciousness away from the Divine. It can get you and hold you like some kind of taskmaster that enslaves you. How do we get over this? We practice being thankful and give ourselves into the Light.

When you come towards God consciousness, you hand it the gold. It's going to make you into the golden chalice.

John-Roger, DSS
Peace gives unto peace as love gives unto love, as Light gives to Light, as laughter gives to laughter.

John-Roger, DSS
Be loyal to your own well-being and happiness. If you go through an unhappy period, remain loyal to your own happiness, and you'll find yourself returning to happiness. Be loyal to your own upliftment so that if you get a little down or depressed, you'll just move through it and come right back around to being happy and uplifted. Be loyal to doing spiritual exercises. If you miss a day or two, your loyalty to doing them will reassert itself and you'll move back into the process.

John-Roger, DSS
The Mystical Traveler also has the ability to reach into the inner consciousness and strengthen your awareness of Soul until you start to feel that movement inside of you. When you sense that something's going on, you may run to the nearest book to read what it could be. The book won't give you the experience, though if it's by someone who knows what's going on, you can use it to clarify what your experience has been. Whatever you read, you must check the information out for yourself, in your own way, in the integrity of your own beingness.
